Our luxurious 5 star bed and breakfast is found 3km from Twizel, the gateway to Mt Cook, halfway between Christchurch and Queenstown.
Decorated with contemporary and antique furniture, original artworks and unique artefacts the atmosphere is casually elegant.
Each of the four bedrooms has king bed, walk-in wardrobe, individual climate control and private verandah overlooking our trout pond and the Southern Alps.

Driving from the North on Highway 8 Approaching Twizel, about 8km after passing the turnoff to Aoraki/Mt Cook, cross the Twizel River and take the next turn to the right, Glen Lyon Road.
Driving from the South on Highway 8 Approximately 30km after Omarama, go past both turnoffs into Twizel, take the next turn to the left, Glen Lyon Road.
4 km from the highway turn left into Old Station Road. Matuka Lodge is first on your left. - Nearest major airport: Christchurch, New Zealand (CHC) - International 180 miles
