    Upmarket Bed and Breakfast with fantastic views overlooking the Marlborough Sounds, just 35 minutes from Picton, or 45 minutes to the wineries and Blenheim. The private guest wing like a small apartment is completely self contained with lounge/dining, Queen bedroom, bathroom/toilet and large sliding doors out onto the deck area BBQ, boardwalk ,leading to the track down to the beach. Kayaks, Spa, bushwalks, swimming, fishing, full itinerary or transfers available. Evening meals consist of two courses and can be ordered in the morning. Prices include breakfasts and GST. Breakfast can be either Full cooked English or Continental. Friendly knowledgeable hosts.

    We travelled througout the South Island during the month of November, stayed at numerous B&B's and self accommodation apts/hotels. This was our 1st stop after a couple of nights in Wellington. What a sensational set up, you're on the road where you have access to the Queen Charlotte track. The room has stunning views of the water and it's own private deck. We particularly liked stepping into the hot tub, on the outer upper deck, nestled in the trees, over-looking the water. A great way to relax after a day of tramping. Jackie and Carey are both excellent hosts - the breakfast each day was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed an in-house dinner with them. The food and company was excellent! This place was the highlight of our trip. Strongly recommend that you try it. When we go back to NZ again, we will booking there again. Cheers Dave and Lucy

    • Cancellations: If you do have to cancel your reservation, there will be no cancellation fee if this is done at least 2 months prior to your date of stay.       No need for a rental car as we will collect you upon arrival. Catch the ferry from Wellington and we will greet you at the Picton Ferry Terminal, only 25 km's from serenity. Transfers are $60 per couple. Fly into Blenheim Airport or come up from Christchurch on the train, either way, we'll be there to greet you and enjoy showing you around. We will create a 3 day itinerary just for you. We will visit some of the best wineries New Zealand has to offer, sample some of the world's best Sauvignons, enjoy superb local seafood, and take a wonderful picnic to be enjoyed after a sampling of the Queen Charlotte Walking Track. Havelock, just 20 min's away, has a host of activities on its doorstep, Pelorus Sound and the Pelorus River can both be explored from there with Sound tours and charters available, mussel farm tours, fishing excursions, or try an eco-tour to observe bird sanctuaries and fauna. At Cullen Point lookout you will gasp at the beauty that stretches before you, as you get to see the vastness of the Sounds as they glisten below.
