“The Ambers" is a charming old-style European country house set on 14 acres with formal rose gardens, fountains and mature trees. There are beautiful beaches, golf courses and restaurants nearby
We offer elegant country accommodation inclusive of full cooked breakfast. Breakfast is served in our formal dining room or on the terrace. We have 4 double bedrooms, 3 with ensuites. Choose from our elegant “Regency Room” or French style “Blue Room” both on the first floor, or our romantic attic suite with antique claw-footed bath. The two attic rooms make an ideal family suite.

We are only 30 minutes drive north of Auckland city.
From the South (Auckland city): Take the Motorway (State Highway 1) out of Auckland and then the Silverdale exit just north of Albany. Turn left onto State Highway 17 and then first right into Pine Valley Road. The Ambers is at the bottom of the hill.
From the North (Orewa): follow State Highway 1 South. Take the Silverdale exit and turn right into State Highway 17 and then first right into Pine Valley Road. The Ambers is at the bottom of the hill.
