This is the 1840 farmhouse with the main dining room which is one of your breakfast dining options. On occassion when the Carriage House is not available you may opt to stay in the colonial bedroom off the living room in the farmhouse. This bedroom area has a four-post canopy bed, a jacuzzi in the bath area, and a bay window overlooking the patio and pool area. A guest's comment best describes this 1840 colonial treasure. The Carriage House is at the end of a half-mile, tree lined private driveway. It sits in a pristine piece of country property surrounded by beautiful woods and farm meadows outlined by timeless stone walls that frame our idyllic natural surroundings.
A fireplace, nestled in a walnut-raised paneled wall, adds to the ambiance of your living quarters. This photo represents approximately half of your cottage space on the first floor. Above this space is the loft bedroom area with a four-post pineapple bed which overlooks the living and dining room on the first floor. Four steps up from the living area is your private bath area.
Enjoy swimming in our large, in-ground fiberglass pool or relax surrounded by our everblooming perennial gardens. Have breakfast on our patio, in our farmhouse dining room, or delivered to your private quarters at the Carriage House.
This is your view from the entrance of the Carriage House. It depicts the 1840 farmhouse and panaramic view of the surrounding property. Winter offers tranquility and feeling warm and toasty by the Carriage House fireplace. Cross country ski in the meadows that surround the property or go downhill skiing at an exclusive resort just minutes away. This is indeed a B&B for all seasons.

My husband and I stayed in the carriage house after our July 8th wedding at Bethel Woods and it was absolutely perfect. We had stayed at Stonewall Acres B&B in 2010 and we were so impressed we knew we had to come back for our mini honeymoon. Glenn is an amazing host who invites you in and makes you feel like family. We are already talking about our next visit.

Glen does not leave any stone unturned, he gives new meaning to the phrase God is in the details! His hospitality makes one feel as they are in the south from the moment you arrive until you leave! His knowledge of the area was fascinating and lead us to a wonderful dinner at 1906. Beautiful grounds and the accomondations are fabulous! If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to relax then look no further..it's all you could hope for and more! This inn will definitely be on our return visit list... Missy & Guy

My girlfriend and I stayed at Stone Wall Acres on October 23, 2010. This was my first experience with a B&B. Needless to say, I will be back. We go to Bethel a few times a year but always drive home after. Stone Wall will be our place to stay from now on. Since we were only staying one night we were in the main house. Even those accommodations exceeded my expectations. Glenn showed us the guesthouse and we will plan on spending a weekend next time so we can stay in there. Both places are perfect. Glenn was wonderful. He recommended a great little local bar to get some great food and great wings. Before leaving we spent some time exploring the grounds. It is so peaceful there. If you will be in the area, stay at Stone Wall. You won't regret it.

Take NYS Thruway to Exit 16. Proceed to Rt. 17 West to Exit 104. Take 17B approximately 15 miles to the traffic light in Fosterdale. Make a right turn on Rt 52 East through Kenoza Lake. Outside Kenoza Lake, you will come to a T junction at the historic Stone Arch Bridge. Make a right turn staying on 52 East for 6 miles through Jeffersonville. You will make a left turn off 52 onto Hemmer Rd. (3 miles outside of Jeffersonville) You will climb to the top of the hill for 1/2 mile, where you will make a right hand turn on to Eagin Rd. You will notice our sign post , Stone Wall Acres, to the left of the entrance to our driveway. Proceed up the tree lined driveway, house # 142, for a 1/2 mile. We are the only residence at the end of the lane.
