My husband and I celebrated our mini-honeymoon at the Inn at Willow and I can't think of a better place to have celebrated our new union. We were warmly greeted by the owner and shown to our room. I was immediately struck by how CLEAN, bright and cozy the space was. I wanted to move in permanently! My husband and I are both vegan and we told the owners this prior to coming. They stocked our fridge up with vegan yogurts, nondairy milk, granola bars and muffins, in addition to the usual oatmeal and teas they provide. So incredibly thoughtful and beyond what we anticipated. They also left us a card congratulating us on our wedding and welcoming us to their home. Even though you are staying in an addition of their home, it is very private. I never once felt like I was staying with strangers. The property and views are gorgeous and the two black labs that are often in the yard are sweet gentle giants. We were also provided with maps, travel guides about the region and hiking trails. Every detail was attended to. And the inn is just a few minutes drive from Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary (you can even walk there, though it may take 20 mins or so) and downtown Woodstock. We can't wait to come back!

Great hosts (and their humans are nice, too!)

Lovely, secluded, studio apartment-like accommodations on the mountain just outside Woodstock, patrolled by 2 delightful Labrador retrievers and run by wonderful hosts, Gabrielle and Tim!

We just stayed at The Inn at Willow and could not believe our eyes. The setting is a natural paradise similar to the Northwest-big Mountains, huge Sky and a wonderful "lake"; the decor is like being in Provence with better plumbing, and the innkeepers are so incredibly helpful. If you are a dog lover,or even if you are not, you will fall in love with their two labs, Hogan and Finn. It is so incredibly peaceful and private. We just could not have found a better place to celebrate a special occassion-and it is amazing that it is so close to the city but it really is like being in a different continent.

    What a special place.

You are surrounded by thousands of acres of the most beautiful terrain and mountains yet you are only 10 minutes to Woodstock. The suite is better than a 5 star hotel room with everything you would want. YOu have lots of privacy yet the assistance of the innkeeper who is so incredibly kind. We loved it so much that we booked four more times. Stay here. There is nothing like it.

Tell the innkeeper that sent you.
