We stayed in a 2 bedroom, private bath room for 2 nights. The room was immaculate, the manager very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was simple yet delicious/fresh. I would recommend this place for visiting Woodstock as it is right in the heart of town-walking distance to shopping, dining, etc. If you are a light sleeper (which I am) keep in mind this is a very old house with creaky floors. Even though the guests upstairs were quiet, you do hear every footstep. Everything was great.

Perfect getaway, great house, awesome location!

I was looking for a last minute weekend getaway and I couldn't have found a better deal! Twin Gables was a wonderful, unique place to stay. It's in a great location, across the street from some hippie houses! :) The room was wonderful and the service was great. The woman there had many suggestions for us and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, great local muffins and fruit. Not sit down, but still very good. Overall, excellent stay! They have journals in every room, with comments from previous visitors. These are fun to read and provide other interesting suggestions. Enjoy!

Twin Gables is a very comfortable inn and located in the heart of woodstock. The inn is a very relaxing environment. The staff was pleasant and the rooms were very comfortable. This wasnt my first stay at Twin Gables but I'm happy to say that the new owner there is definitely an improvement. Henri was very friendly, made sure I enjoyed my stay. Even talked about some of the improvements he wants to make to the inn. Turns out, he was also a Twin Gables regular before he decided to buy the place, so he completely understands what needs to be improved upon. Even the staff was new since I stayed there a few months ago which really made a difference. So I definitely look forward to my next visit in the summertime.
