Beautiful. Peaceful. So much attention to the details. Lavendar body wash, yummy vegetarian breakfast each morning. A lovely dog and cat on the property as well as chickens. Beautiful surroundings. Great location. Lovely shower and amenities. Megan is very hospitable and welcoming. We were able to "unplug" from our hectic lives. Great books in the bookcases. Lots of outlets (just in case). We slept beautifully. I totally recommend it and I will come back.

If you are looking for a place to stay in the Woodstock area, stop now and stay at TreeGap. The property, house, and rooms are spectacular. The owners are friendly and leave you in peace to enjoy the place. The cat (Felix) and dog (Bess) are so much fun to have around. Breakfast is very tasty and delivered to your room.

We loved our stay at Megan's cozy home! Spacious room with a comfy bed, window seat and even your own balcony. We love our customized breakfasts and quiet time on this environmentally friendly property. Close enough to town but far enough to really have a true getaway from city life (we visited from NYC). Plus, if you love animals their pets are the sweetest - the cat hung out with us all weekend :)

Retreat at TreeGap was the perfect location for a quiet, romantic weekend. Close enough to town, yet extremely private. The beautiful porch off the White Pine Suite was ideal for taking our breakfast. Megan, the innkeeper was a pleasure. She provided everything we needed, but also gave us plenty of privacy to enjoy her beautiful home. If you're looking for a place to stay in Woodstock, look no further!

Retreat at TreeGap is gem! My husband, 11-year-old son and I stayed in the Carriage House 8/15-8/16 and could not have asked for a more peaceful respite. Megan is a gracious hostess and a skilled cook who easily accommodated my husband's gluten and dairy free diet. Moreover, we'd had some concerns about my husband's allergy to cats, but there were absolutely no signs that Felix had ever set paws in our accommodations. Finally, my son fell in love with Bess, one of the sweetest dogs we've ever met. Near town and hiking trails, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking to stay overnight in Woodstock.

We really enjoyed our stay at the TreeGap. The grounds are beautiful and you are surrounded by nature. It's feels as if you are living in Woodstock vs. staying at an Inn. We stayed in the Carriage House which is a great room and very well equipped with natural bath products, tea, coffee and some other snacks in the fridge. There's a small patio to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the chickens. We will definitely be back!

I chose the Retreat at TreeGap from a brief online description, and I have never been happier with a decision. It was a birthday weekend for my friend, and I couldn't have chosen a more perfect spot if I had had a hundred places from which to choose. The room was clean and charming, the location convenient but private and the food healthy and delicious. Megan is a charming and hospitable hostess and I look forward to spending time at her beautiful retreat in the future.
