    Weather permitting, relax outside on our magnificent grounds, where, only a mile and a half from the hub of White Plains, you can still hear the birds at dawn, see playful rabbits run, gather grapes from our arbor, sip a glass of sherry or mint julep on our beautiful terraces and verandas, surrounded by colorful floral displays, or in our lovely common rooms, filled with interesting collections from travels abroad
    Our wonderful Breakfast Room is a favorite with all! And the view is beautiful.
    Our wonderful Penthouse, with it's balconies and porches, working fireplace, etc., along with high-speed wireless internet access. The Penthouse is the entire third floor of the house. Sunny, light and airy!
    Our lovely Living Room (with marble fireplace imported from Italy when the house was built) and view of piano and reception area.
    The Edwardian Room is connected to the Lauren Room by an adjoining bath, comprising the 'Edwardian Suite'.
    The Victorian is large and lovely.

    This magnificent Palladio-style, 11 bedroom, 9 bath MANSION, built in 1920, on more than 4.5 beautifully landscaped, park-like acres -- the only privately-owned estate in the City of White Plains honored by listings on the National and NY State Registers of Historic Places, in the lifetime of the owners, still in occupancy -- a triple honor for the City -- opened to the public as a BED & BREAKFAST in 1993, offering unique Old-World hospitality for a quick getaway or an extended stay. A lovely circular drive, sweeping lawns, gorgeous grounds and gardens welcome your arrival. In the summer, breakfast al fresco, weather permitting, or spend lazy days in our hammock or lounge chairs with a good book. In the winter, warm by the fireplace in our spacious reception room, maybe sipping Viennese coffee, a glass of sherry or a hot toddy! Conveniently located on the southernmost border of White Plains and Scarsdale, in one of the oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods of the City, only 35 minutes to NYC by Metro North Express train and minutes to the downtown hub of White Plains.
