Innkeepers Description:
Barbara & Tom grew up in this area...Rock Stream and Odessa. After spending 34 years away from the area, raising their family and working in different parts of the country, they came back to their roots in 2005 to open Echoes of the Glen B&B, which reflects the history of racing, the area's wines and the Watkins Glen Gorge. Their own collection of racing posters and photographs makes the stairway and upstairs hallway a gallery dedicated to the racing history of Watkins Glen.

June 08, 2013
We came to enjoy the beauty of the area, hike the Glen, attend the marvelous food and wine festival, and most importantly, celebrate our anniversary. All were accomplished and made only more enjoyable by our stay at this warm and wonderful bed and breakfast. Our room was charming, the meals were delightful and the innkeepers were helpful and gracious. We were planning our return before we left.
4.8 out of 5Charming Room in Watkins Glen
June 04, 2013
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Echoes of the Glen! The Chardonnay Room was light and cheery, and the private bath was flooded with natural light. Breakfast at the Echoes was delicious, and if you went away hungry it was your own fault! We will definitely come back to Watkins Glen and Seneca wine country and won't hesitate to book our room at the Echoes of the Glen!
5 out of 5perfect stay
May 22, 2013
My husband and I stayed at Echoes of the Glen for 2 nights in May 2013. Our hosts were kind and helpful but not overbearing. The location was nice. The b&b is diagonal from the State Park entrance. It was nice because we went there right after breakfast and beat the crowds. This is not a place you want to be when there are tons of people because the photo opportunities are spectacular. Would be next to impossible to get good pics with people in the way. Breakfasts were good. Very accommadating d/t the fact I have a peanut allergy. Everything was safe. I felt like my concerns were taken seriously. I can imagine it would be that way for anyone with dietary restrictions or allergies which is so important. Watkins Glen has several restaurants in town that are easily walkable from this location. Also a movie theater and the harbor of Seneca Lake are a 10 minute walk. We stayed in the smallest room and there was no tv but we knew that ahead of time so we didn't care. Also the shower in the bathroom is pretty tight. I can imagine it might pose a little more of a problem if you are a larger person but it was fine for us. Everything is immaculately clean and I really don't believe you could find a better value for your money. Echoes of the Glen exceeded our expectaions.
5 out of 5Wonderful First Time Experience
May 08, 2013
I have never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast and my experience was outstanding! I'm afraid every other B&B stay we do will have to live up to this one. Barb and Tom are excellent hosts, serve as great tour guides and provide unbelievable breakfasts.
