My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peach Grove Inn. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the food was delicious, and John and his daughter were perfect hosts. John went above and beyond the call of duty for us, providing rides and letting us use his personal phone (since ours weren't working). The advantage of bed and breakfast accommodations is that they are more personal than hotels----and therefore more comforting, more homelike, and more unique. We enjoyed the town, the house, the breakfast, the other guests and the hospitality. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely stay at the Peach Grove after a bookin at another B&B was cancelled due to storm damage. John took care of us from the moment we arrived and til the moment we left. The hearth room was great except for the fact that the in room fireplace wasn't working but otherwise we had an amazing stay and look forward to coming back another time.

We booked the B&B for a weekend getaway and it exceeded our expectaions in every way. The room was wonderfully decorated and we made use of the fireplace both nights. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts with John, the innkeeper, and the other guests. John told us about the town and where some of the best places to visit were, we took his advise and it made our trip all the more memorable. We will be staying there again next year!

John was the perfect host, informative, interesting and friendly. He patiently described the history of the house and the town, and made several suggestions for activities that we might enjoy. He made our stay one to remember. Thank you John.

My husband surprised me with an overnight trip to the inn. When we drove in the drive way, the view took my breath away! John's daughter greeted us with a mini tour and was so sweet and kind, and very helpful. We stayed in the hearth room, that was SO incredibly amazing, as was the entire inn, it felt very regal yet we felt very at home. Probably because John and his girlfriend were so friendly and very sincere, and chatted with us for a good while. The breakfast was so lovely and very yummy that John served us,and we enjoyed our meal with a wonderful couple before leaving just this morning. We look forward to visiting again!

My mom and I had the most wonderful mom and daughter getaway weekend due mostly to the wonderful experience of staying at The Peach Grove Inn. From the time we arrived until we left we were in great hands with John who owned the house. He gave us a room that was spacious and equipped with everything a person could need. I had asked him for a room on the first level so that my mom wouldn't have to climb steps. She has trouble walking due to her knees. He gave us the perfect room. We could park outside the room. The house itself is so charming and decorated in the period that it was built in.. John explained the history of the house . Whenever we needed directions to go somewhere or needed ideas John was a wealth of information for places to eat and things to do.. His breakfast every morning was as if it was catered in. He is an outstanding cook and the choices of food were beyond belief. So elegant in the dining room and meeting other guests was fun. We can't wait to go back. Next time I will go with my husband so he can enjoy this to. Make reservations here for a great experience.

We stayed four nights at the Peach Grove, while attending local wedding festivities. We were in the Joel Wheeler room, which is beautiful and has views over the countryside. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast each day was different and original, with something for everyone. John immediately caught on to each guest's preferences and remembered them. He also was super-helpful in providing us with information, forgot no detail, and and even made us bagels and coffee to-go when we had to catch a 7am bus. Thanks, John! We loved our stay at the Peach Grove!

John was most hospitable and helpful. The room (The Hearth room) was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The Inn itself is impressive with a great history. The breakfasts were gourmet quality and delicious. Simply put, we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I are a bit of last-minute planners and were thrilled to discover that one of Warwick Valley's premier B&B's was willing to let out it's "Servants Quarters" to us over a three-day holiday weekend. By the way, we reside in Manhattan, and the "Servants' Quarter's" room was larger than our apartment. The proprietor John was so accommodating and very understanding that we would be arriving late coming up through holiday rush-hour traffic on a Friday night. He checked us into our room, and made three excellent recommendations for places to have a beer and some snacks after 9PM in the farm-land idyll that typifies the Warwick Valley (We went to the tap room at the Iron Forge Inn less than 2 miles away). The next morning John woke up early with us as we had an appointment and served us private coffee and breakfast danish in the parlor. Through our discussions John realized that we had a personal family history interest in the town and offered us the use of his beautiful history books at our leisure to see if we could learn something new. The atmosphere at peach Grove Inn is relaxing as if you are staying at a friend's house - no commercial feeling or unease as if you are intruding on someone's private residence. We will be back next year for both the 4th of July and Labor Day weekends - if not sooner - for our Manhattan escapes.

The owner John, was very helpful in providing information we needed for our visit in the area. Room was great, food was good, and enjoyed very social breakfasts.

The innkeepers are pleasant and the breakfast was very good. However, the rooms need some attention as they are in a bit of disrepair. But the main issue is the walls are paper thin, so you can hear your neighbors constantly.

Beautiful rooms, bigger than in many old B&B mansions, well maintained and interesting. Breakfast was elegant, tasty and fun. The host is friendly and interesting without being overbearing.

The Peach Grove Inn is a wonderful place to visit. The Inn and its grounds are beautiful. The proprietor is a great host! The rooms are very clean and bright and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast each morning was excellent, with fresh fruit and hot items as well. I would definitely recommend the Inn to a friend, and would love to stay again!

The Peach Grove Inn was everthing and more than I expected during my visit to a bed and breakfast. John, the host, was the 'host with the most' that I have encountered, the rooms and furnishings were decorated to the period, the view was fantastic, facilities modern, and breakfasts the best. Want to stay there again, longer, and visit more of the beautiful area.

When I heard that my brother was to be feted with a birthday party, I immediately set about to find a bed and breakfast where my friend and I could stay for just one night. I went on-line and found several that had just booked their rooms, and two that would only take two nights as a minimum. John, at Peach Grove, felt differently. We arrived before dinner on Saturday, sat on the back porch with John and talked over a bottle of wine, before leaving for the village for dinner. The house is spectacular, true to its period in every detail, and beautifully furnished. Breakfast, the next morning, was great, set in the beautiful dining room. All the guests sat around a large table, which initiated great conversation. I would highly recommend Peach Grove to my friends.

My over night stay at the Peach Grove was wonderful. I didn't arrive until late evening and the Innkeeper was waiting up for me, that doesn't happen often. My room was beautiful, slept like a baby. Breakfast was waiting for me in the morning which was delightful. The Peach Grove Inn was such a delight, I can't wait to bring my family next time.

my husband and I stayed at this beautiful place in d heart room n we just loved it...!! it was the perfect getaway n d perfect way to relax, from d moment u enter u can feel in another place n in another time...!! I totally recommend it..is absolutely romantic.!

Please note that the Servants Quarters Room has no TV or radio. Also, ice is only given on request and in small amounts, The room is small and very nicely decorated. Breakfast is wonderful and the table is set beautifully. It was nice and quiet and made for a wonderful stay.

My husband and I stayed in the Hearth Room on Fri. and Sat. the weekend of the Superbowl. We had the whole place to ourselves. This afforded us the opportunity to get to know John the Innkeeper. We spent a lot of time with him since the weather was pretty awful. Not a problem. We found John to be great company and we were almost glad the weather was bad. We also found the local restaurants to be fabulous and the locals friendly. One night a couple was seated near us at one of these fabulous restaurants and we ended up talking with them throughout the whole meal. They were a pleasure to talk to. So even though the Feb. weather was less than wonderful we had a marvelous time thanks to John and the food and the people we met, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway! Thanks John!

John once again went out of his way to make our stay most pleasant. This was our second stay at the Peach Grove Inn. I would not hesitate to stay there again. All of the rooms are lovely.

I booked Peach Grove inn for March 5th to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had a great time. The room was quaint, had a working fireplace, and John prepared a delicious breakfast. We spent the morning during breakfast relaxing and talking with John. Thank you for making it a memorable time for us. We will be back. Steve & Deanna

This inn was charming and comfortable. The inn keeper made us feel welcome and provided outstanding service. The rooms were comfortable and clean and was a great value for the money. Breakfast everyday included 2 courses set in a very formal setting. The house was perfectly kept and full of gorgeous antiques and nice decorations. The inn-keeper was also very helpful in suggesting things to do in the area. My husband and I enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it to anyone else who is going through the area.

We stayed for one night and the winds were 40+ mph so couldn't use the wonderful fireplace in our room. But regardless, the home was very well kept and John was extremely friendly and helpful with anything/everything we needed.

My spouse and I usually try to find a B&B within short driving distance for Valentine's Day weekend. Peach Grove Inn offered a generous sized room with a working fireplace and two-person jacuzzi tub/shower. Everything was sparkling, the bed was comfortable. The only down side on this room (the Hearth) is that it lacks its own room temp. control (the control is in the room next door). Lets just say than on each night we kept removing layers, despite the frigid conditions outside. Yes, we ran the fireplace too, which added to the very cozy conditions. The room had a second exit, directory out to a nice country vista in the back of the property, but the unusual winter left plenty of unconquerable ice around, so we stayed warm and inside. Breakfast was generous and tasty. Buttermilk pancakes may seem mundane, but these pancakes were light, fresh, and first rate. The broiled grapefruit was a revelation. Host John was attentive and entertaining. We will certainly be back.

We had a lovely weekend away from NYC. This historic and welcoming bed and breakfast is tucked away in the Hudson Valley surrounded my great hiking, wonderful wineries, and peaceful scenery. The Innkeeper, John, was warm and hospitable and cooked up a tasty breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed our stayed and would definitely return again!

My husband and I stayed at the Peach Grove Inn Friday and Saturday night and we couldn't have been more pleased with everything. John was an outstanding host and very informative with the local history and the best places to go. The pictures on the website do no justice to the house that he and his wife restored by hand. The fireplace in every room was a great bonus. Breakfast both mornings was delicious and we took home a great recipe. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay rich in history and convenient to many activities, definitely book a room at the Peach Grove Inn.

My husband and I stayed at the Peach Grove Inn for the New Year's weekend. The room was so warm and cozy, with the fireplace and Jacuzzi tub for two. The innkeeper is a wonderful cook and gracious host. We can't wait to return in the spring.

After reading a number very positive reviews online I decided to book New Year's Eve at the Peach Grove Inn. My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased. It exceeded our expectations in every way. I've never seen an inn more lavishly furnished. It felt like a combination of a museum and an antique shop. How often does one get to sleep in an antique four-poster canopy bed? On top of that the owner/manager, John, could not have been more helpful. He gave us a tour of the inn and booked us dinner at a local restaurant. The breakfast he served was fabulous and the setting included silver and fine china. I heartily recommend this lodging, especially for a special occasion.

This gorgeous Federal style house has been painstakinkly and loving restored. there are many fabulous authentic features, including original heart of pine floors in the main areas and original faux marbelling in the central hallway. The breakfats were gourmet quality and lavish. No going hungry here. We have stayed in Bed and Breakfasts in many parts of the world. At the "Peach Grove we stayed in the "Keeping Room" which has a large Jacizzi a fireplace and it's own private entrance. We were there over Christmas and during a blizzard. The host made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and safe. Mr Mastropierro is an artist and his talent is evident in the careful restoration and in the mood of this wonderful B&B. The rooms are better in reality than you can tell from the pictures. It is close to the many interesting restaurants and shops of Warwick. We will probably return there at some time.

We stayed in the Keeping Room for two nights recently and were very pleased with the Peach Grove Inn. It is definitely a great value. John, the innkeeper was welcoming, had good knowledge of the area, and was accommodating to special request we had. The room was a little cold at times, but the fireplace more than made up for that. It is worth noting that sound travels easily between rooms and we had noisy neighbors for the second night. It did not end up being a problem for us, but it might be for some. The breakfasts were good. They are served family style and all guests shared a table. There was more than enough food and it was tasty and satisfying. We would definitely consider returning.

We stayed at this B&B this past weekend - what a fantastic place. We are New Yorkers who live relatively close just looking for nice overnight to relax. The hearth room where we staed was as advertised - very romantic, with a fireplace and hot tub jacuzzi. John the innkeeper was ver accomodating and breakfast was excellent. Close to nearby Warwick (where we had dinner at an outstanding Latin American restaurant), this place was a real find. You won't be disappointed!

Staying at the Peach Grove Inn was a pleasure. My husband and I were booked into the Hearth room downstairs, having its own whirlpool bath, open fire and private entrance, it looked out onto the countryside views at the back. The room itself was charming, and despite the occasional walking sound upstairs, was relaxing. One of the best parts of the trip was the breakfasts, our first morning there we were treated to homemade breakfast of cheese stratto, a baked cheese and egg dish, delicious - I even asked for the recipe. It was so nice to have something different to the usual bacon, ham, sausage traditional fried breakfast - and far more satisfying to take us through until lunchtime. The house itself is delightfully and tastefully decorated, totally in keeping with its 1850s period. Piano players will be very happy as a baby grand is available to 'tinkle' on. Our host John is also very welcoming and helpful. Its situation is close enough to Warwick that any restaurant is only 3 minutes away and we would totally recommend the Grappa restaurant in Warwick town.

The Peach Grove Inn is more than delightful - it is a true period gem. Our host John, welcomed us with graciousness and warmth, immediately giving us some personal history as we chatted in his most spacious entrance hall. The Inn is decorated in true period antiques obviously lovingly collected by John's late wife Lucy. John's gift in keeping Lucy's "light" shining is clearly apparent in every detail of each room. Breakfast was delicious and conversation was lively and informative as John added more details about the history of his home and the town of Warwick. As history buffs and antique collectors, we were enchanted by The Peach Grove Inn - it is a delightful spot - we look forward to staying again in the summertime so we can enjoy the lovely outdoor space and gardens. We took the Servants Quarters for a romantic autumn weekend getaway, which was perfect, as it's more secluded than the other rooms (which have relatively thin doors separating them from the hallway - I guess that's just the way they built 'em back in the 1800's...). Just make sure to close the bathroom door! John was a gracious and knowledgeable host - friendly and helpful, but in no way instrusive. One nice surprise was a concert in the salon on Saturday evening - apparently they're held regularly - we enjoyed the first half very much, and would've liked to hear the rest, but dinner at the Old Forge Inn was calling, and that's not to be missed! We also had a nice time exploring the fields overlooked by the house. Highly recommended!

This is the nicest B&B my fiancee and I have every stayed in, and we've stayed in quite a few over the years. It is a beautiful place in a idyllic setting with every little touch one could imagine. It's also very easy to get to any number of places around Warwick from the Inn, including each of the wineries and the town itself. The rooms are far more spacious than they appear in pictures and the views from the back windows/ porch are tremendous. The breakfast was also very good (coffee was the best I've ever had, which is frankly not something I was expecting). The owners seemed nice, though we admittedly had very little contact with them as we were out-and-about for most of our stay. We will definitely be back! (probably in the winter so we can use the fireplace)

Innkeeper John was very gracious and informative, a very nice relaxing experience.

B and B was beautiful. The staff was pleasant, informative, prompt with breakfast (which was great), and helpful. When we called a day earlier to let them know we would be a little late, they called us while we were on the road to confirm we were on the way and to offer directions should we need any. A great time and lots to do in the area.

Stunning rooms, luscious views and a fabulous breakfast!

THe Peach Grove Inn was the site of a birthday party for my husband and 11 friends. The B & B was beautiful with each room decorated with lovely antiques and a VERY comfortable bed/mattress. John, the owner's pleasant personality made us feel at home in his magnificant home. The following morning, after arising to the smell of delicious coffee, we were treated to a delicious breakfast in the main dining room at a table set for royality. I would highly recommend this B & B which was only 2 hours away from our home in Huntington, NY.

We just got back from a wonderful weekend stay at the Peach Grove Inn. The Inn, built in the 1850's was truly a marvel. Period pieces, beautiful moldings and rooms that transport you to another era. Ask John, our great host, to tell you about the faux marble walls...fascinating. We went with a group of 11 friends and had the place to ourselves, slept like babies and had a fabulous breakfast. There are a number wineries in the area as well as great restaurants, antiquing and other attrations in Warwick. Go and enjoy!

Had a most enjoyable stay at this lovely inn. A grand house with decor that is appealing and inviting in both the private and common rooms. A fireplace in all but one of the rooms was a cozy touch. Our host, John, was gracious, warm, friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. The breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious. There are interesting things to do in the area as well as some outstanding restaurants. I would not hesitate to return.
