Nous avons passé deux nuits chez Bill et Jo. Ce BB est placé dans un très bel endroit, calme et agréable. La maison est très belle, bien entretenue et les prestations pour les visiteurs d'excellente qualité. Sans parler de nos hotes si sympathiques, Bill et Jo qui ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Très jolie chambre, spacieuse, breakfast très bon et copieux. My husband & I celebrated our anniversary at the Inn and could not have asked for a better experience. The hosts Jim & Joe were friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts served were delicious and accommodated my husband's dietary needs without hesitation. The room was lovely & very clean. The house itself is beautiful and ideally located for easy hiking, shopping, dining and antiquing. We'll definitely be back!

The Inn couldn't have been lovelier. The innkeepers, Bill and Joe, were so nice, engaging and couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely - clean and every comfort and detail taken into consideration. breakfast.....wow! We will certainly be visiting Bill and Joe again and sooner than later! What a wonderful stay!

My husband and I have been visiting the inn for 6-7 years now, and we always return. There are many things to do in the the area, but the place really has that "home away from home" charm... with a little added luxury of course!!! The house is gorgeous and the breakfast-- amazing! Can't wait for next year's trip!!!

Our room was very nice and spacious, including the large jacuzzi tub.

We had a lovely stay here. The innkeepers are fantastic and you certainly feel welcome in their home. The breakfast was tasty - using farm raised eggs from their very own chickens. These eggs are also available for sale - would recommend purchasing some. My only regret is we couldn't stay there loner - pure class Inn at Stony Creek... pure class.

We stayed here three nights and can not rave enough about our stay. Bill and Joe, the owners run a fabulous inn and make you feel most welcome. The inn is beautifully decorated to meet the style of this historic home. The breakfasts are delicious and nothing was too much trouble for Bill or Joe. This was our second visit to the inn and it won't be our last.

This wonderful guest house is our best discovery in the States and cannot recommend it highly enough. The house is beautiful,the rooms decorated in impeccable taste,the food mouthwatering. We were looked after above and beyond whilst being caught in Hurricane Sandy at the Inn. Nothing was too much trouble even in those tough days. Cant wait until our next visit.

Was visiting Warwick Distillery from the UK. Was quiet, confortable & peaceful with some nice restaurants near by. Had some early starts and the owners we're more than accommodating for breakfast times, etc... Recommend the pancakes and bacon. A great B&B!

Bill and Joe were where nice with us! they help us about our travel to Woodbury and also to NYC. Breakfast was very good! Bill And Joe are very nice owner of the B&B and we will come back there for sure! we recommended this place to our friends!

My husband and I were looking for a place to "detox" from noise, stimulation, and responsibilities. The quiet, fresh air and friendly hosts made for a most relaxing stay.

Bill and Joe are premiere innkeepers whose sole focus is making sure their guests are having a lovely, relaxing stay in their charming inn. We spent two nights at the inn. From the warm and inviting welcome we received through the moment we were waving goodbye, we were continually delighted with the inn and their hospitality. The breakfasts were delicious in their beautiful dining area with choices between two selections each morning. They were quick to suggest places to go and were always handy with directions. Though some may feel its too far from Warwick, we loved that it was out in the country and that the quiet sounds of night enveloped us like a sweet country song. We will definitely be back - and highly recommend this inn to anyone who is looking for individual attention, quiet, and complete relaxation. Thanks so much for a very enjoyable stay, Bill and Joe! We decided to make our annual shopping trip to the Woodbury Commons outlets an overnight trip. We booked The Inn at Stony Creek based on other web recommendations. We were very impressed! The room was beautiful and the Innkeepers were wonderful, even accommodating our very late arrival. The breakfast was awesome! We can't wait to go back.

My wife and I absolutely loved the Inn at Stony Creek. Bill and Joe are beyond personable and always ready to insure and wonderful stay. The room was great and breakfast was wonderful. The area is so peaceful, we did not feel an urgentcy to run off and do things. We hung out at the inn and also visiyed the markets in town. I highly recommend The Inn at Stony Creek for a wonderful, peaceful retreat from the stresses of life.

We only spent one night, but we truly enjoyed every minute of it! We live in NYC and this was a perfect escape to a quiet country town, and Bill and Joe were absolutely amazing! We had the ultimate fresh breakfast with eggs right from the chickens out back. We will definately visit again!

What a way to celebrate our 4th anniversary!! Our plan was to go to a local winery, into town for dinner, and then maybe a movie. Wound up skipping the movie, and just coming "home" and enjoying some wine on the rocking chairs on the front porch. EVERY detail is attended to in this beautiful and relaxing B and B....one of he first things we noticed when we arrived was that the toilet paper has a raised seal that is stamped "SC"!!! We LOVED this place. A great place for a getaway for some marriage maintenance. We felt pampered and respected and the surroundings were lovely. The weather was not great, but we still had a wonderful time and our hosts were fantastic. Our only disappointment was that the creek had been mussed up by recent storms and flooding, so was not as picturesque as we had hoped. But the areas immediately around the inn, both landscaped and wild, were spectacular. We stayed in the Patriot room, very quaint and homey, with a lovely private bath. I highly recommend this place, and would go back in a heartbeat.

What a great time we had at the inn at stony creek. It was everything we expected and more. The hosts were so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. Breakfast was great. The house was so beautiful. The town of Warwick is very nice as well. We went to a winery on Sunday and had a blast. I will definitely be coming back and staying here.

Hi, it has been a week since my spouse and i left the Inn at Stony Creek. The stay has left a lasting memory in both our minds, the tranquility of being a way from city, the uniqueness of the room, the breakfast served, the personal touches and the excellent hosts over at the Stony Creek makes this stay the most memorable in our lives to date. In my honest opinion it is comparable to some of the 5 star hotels that i have stayed world wide, the experience is unlike any other. I strongly recommend a stay in this establishment if your schedule permits. And If you were to stay at the Inn at Stony Creek and prior to checking in you might want to check out the small plaque that has the words "Colonial ambience, First class amenities, and Gracious hospitality." My Wife and I had a great weekend at the Inn at Stony Creek! Bill and Joe are excellent and friendly hosts but they do not dominate your time with conversation. They are very knowledgeable about activities in the area. The accomdations were very clean and comfortable and the inn is well decorated with an old colonial/patriot feel. The breakfast were certainly of a gourmet level. During the day, we enjoyed some local hikes on the nearby Appalachian trail followed up by some wine tasting at the nearby Warwick Winery and Orchard. We had a great time and loved our stay!

We had a good time staying here and talking with the delightful owners who were very friendly. Room was big and there was good food nearby. Only complaint was that the bed wasn't terribly comfortable and was a little squeaky.

Bill and Joe are very outgoing and go the extra mile to make you feel welco me. Breakfast was outstanding.

We have visited this Inn on a number of occasions and look forward to returning in the future. This is a very comfortable place to stay in terms of the facilities and the atmosphere created by the owners. They always have time for any question / conversation - whatever! They are there if you need them or not if you want some quiet time. Lots of thought has gone into this inn but it does not give the impression of being "overthought." Breakfast is always very tasty - there is a menu but they will try an accomodate anything you might want. Or more if you want that! Lovely home in a lovely place.

We just got back from two nights at the inn, and it was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. As the other reviewers have said, Joe and Bill could not be better hosts. Fun and friendly and welcoming--and to top it all off, Joe is a fantastic cook! The breakfasts were divine. The Americana Suite was spacious and comfortable with a big comfy couch and plenty of room to lounge around. The jacuzzi tube was a treat, and it's always handy to have a fridge in the room. The room decorations are charming and fun, and the communal sitting and dining area is especially gorgeous. Relaxing with a cup of tea in front of the fireplace? Can't beat that. The location is great--just a few miles from town, but in a nice and quiet and gorgeous area (and this was in the off season--I can't wait to come back in the spring. And summer. And fall. I really can't say enough good things. I didn't want to leave--and I can't wait to go back and visit again.

Me and my boyfriend spent new years eve at the Inn at Stony Creek and we had such an awesome time!! From the moment we arrived to the minute that we left, we felt so at home and welcomed. Bill and Joe were extremely hospitable and made sure that we were completely taken care of. Our room was so cozy and well-maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the atmosphere was so relaxing; exactly what we were looking for. It was the perfect romantic getaway. The next morning, breakfast was promptly prepared for us and consisted of yogurt parfaits, stuffed french toast, fresh fruit, and sausage, among other items. When I say that it was ABSOLUTELY delicious, I am not exaggerating. It was probably the best breakfast I've ever had, beyond any restaurant or brunch spot. The fresh eggs that were used come from they're own on site chickens! Give this place a try, you will not regret it. We will definitely be returning!! Ps. theres lots of things to do in the area including hiking which we happily did the next morning; what a beautiful area! And the town of Warwick was wonderful, great places to eat!

This inn was just what I needed for a quick overnight stay on business during the Christmas season. The inn was tastefully decorated and the room was beautiful. I ordered a cheese/fruit tray upon arrival. It was delicious and had some tasty extras like chocolates and yummy cookies. Highly recommend this inn for an overnight or weekend stay.

We stayed at Inn at Stony Creek a single night as a stop over between Lancaster and Boston. We had chosen the Patriot Room which was a very nice room. The Innkeepers are very friendly and the breakfast with the very fresh eggs was extremely good.

Coming from a large city this is a true haven of peace and quiet. Bill and Joe could not be more welcoming in sharing their house We had a comfortable, spacious room with it's own entrance at the back of the house. Good breakfasts to start the day and my only complaint is that we did not make more time to stay.

We stayed here for 6 days and were sad to leave. The inn is beautiful, but it's the care that Bill & Joe give you that makes it such a delightful experience. When you return to the inn they are there to find out how your day went and to offer to help with any plans for later that day or the next day. They have detailed directions available to help you find your way to anyplace in this part of the country and go out of their way to make certain that all is well with your stay. Very close to Warwick Valley Winery and both Bill and Joe were very nice and hospitable. My husband and I stayed with our 5 month old daughter and enjoyed spending time in the common room downstairs while she was sleeping. Nice fireplaces in both the common room and in our bedroom. Breakfast was FANTASTIC - we loved the omelets and the french toast. Would definitely recommend this BnB and we'd love to go back!

We LOVE this inn. First time staying there. Came highly recommended. Our room was gorgeous and had a jacuzzi bathtub! The owners Bill and Joe are lovely, friendly people. We were stuck an extra night because of the hurricane and were so happy. They made dinner, we and the other guests contributed wine etc. Had a glorious time. Cannot recommend it enough.

My husband and I attended a wedding up in Warwick NY this past weekend. Originally we planned to stay only until Sun morning, but with Hurricane Irene upon us we added an addtional day to our stay. Our hosts were amazing. So accomodating and personable. They made sure we all had a homecooked dinner on Sunday with them as the weather was horrible. The dinner was amazing as was the company). I am so thankful we picked this inn and spent the hurricane weekend with them. Everyone asked upon our return about how "bad" our trip was with the weather, and I told them it was fabulous because of Bill & Joe. Fantastic breakfasts each morning and we LOVED our room. I can't wait to go back there again.

I stayed at Stony Creek overnight for a business stay. It was cheaper than or on par with some of the local chain hotels, but with infinitely more charm, catered-to-you kind of service, and view! I've stayed at a B&B or two--in fact my honeymoon was in one--and they all have a different feel. This one is arguably my new favorite. It's located on former dairy farmland, and definitely has that farmhouse kind of feel, but with some old colonial charm mixed into the decor. It felt comfortable, everywhere you went. The innkeepers obviously went out of their way to attend to every small detail they could think of to make the stay pleasurable. They provided drinks of all sorts, the rooms came with a basket of little treats, the bathrooms came with lovely toiletries. They both greeted us when we came in the door and welcomed us, and helped us to carry our bags upstairs. They provided a book of recommendations for dining in the area. And when I realized I was going to need some paperwork printed at the last minute for my early-morning meeting the next day, they were gracious enough to print them up for me at 11:00 at night! Food the next morning was delicious, and both innkeepers chatted with us in the dining area. Their story of how they came to own Stony Creek is very interesting--you should ask them about it! I envy their lifestyle...it's breathtakingly beautiful and CALM out there! One final footnote is that the town it's nestled in--Warwick--is beyond charming. Small town or village feel, very well-maintained, with an old, beautiful, restored train station as its focal point. The town has lots top-notch dining--French, Italian, Irish--with lots of outdoor dining. And it also has lots of unique antique shops and dining. All together, this inn and this town make this one LOVELY get-away. I'll be looking for excuses to come back this way for business as often as I can!

We had a lovely, relaxing weekend. Bill and Joe are warm, welcoming and accommodating. The inn is beautiful, and the morning eggs come from its very own chickens! A great place to stay if you want to experience all that the area has to offer and have a quiet and romantic place to relax with a glass of local wine at the end of the day.

Very comfortable, quiet setting, great breakfast! We only stayed one night and arrived a little late, so we didn't get to take in much of the ambiance there, but what we did have time for was definitely a pleasure. Our host was very helpful, very willing to offer suggestions, and pleasant to talk with. I would recommend it to anyone.

We arrived on a rainy Friday evening late for a family party. Bill was extremely helpful with directions to our party and where to make quick stops for cards and a hostess gift. After the party we returned to a homey, antique-filled room and awoke the next morning to views of meadows and sunshine. Chef Joe, graciously accomodate our last minute request for a vegetarian breakfast by cooking a deliciously fluffy omelette made with eggs from their own chickens and packed with asparagus, mushrooms, zucchini and fresh herbs. Yum! Thank you Bill and Joe for the wonderful time. We plan on visiting again.

There wasn't a thing not to like about this Inn -- the quiet, nicely-decorated room that felt so in keeping with the history of the place, without the frou-frou attack that hits so many B&Bs; the lovely, bird-filled meadow and clear creek, the all-too-available homemade cookies and excellent breakfast. But best of all is the hospitality of Bill and Joe, who are genuine and who made us feel like we were old friends, without being intrusive, even though this was the first time we'd laid eyes on the place.

This was my second time to the Inn at Stony Creek and will not be my last. The Innkeepers Bill and Joe provided me with excellent service, I recommend this place to anyone who is in the Warwick area to stop in and say hello. I give it two thumbs up.

I was looking for a romantic weekend getaway to celebrate an anniversary. THIS WAS THE PLACE! A short drive from NYC, Bill and Joe provided me with directions that were super clear! We arrived Sunday afternoon, the room was just what I expected, the property was gorgeous. I had only been to the area once, to the Warwick Winery, a 15 minute drive from the Inn, so I wasnt sure what we could really do to fully enjoy the days off. Bill had great suggestions and provided me with directions to any location I wanted (greatly appreciated and super helpful). Started with a trip to Woodbury Commons and then out for dinner at a local Inn. The following morning we woke up to a choice of homemade waffles or FRESH eggs from the chickens on property. The breakfast was AMAZING. My boyfriend is a chef, so that says a lot! After breakfast we spent the day exploring all of Bill's suggestions. Had ice cream at a local creamery, went wine tasting, a farmer's market, a walk in Sugar Loaf ended with a trip to the movies. Just a tip- almost everything is closed on Mondays, so don't expect to do a lot of shopping at local stores! We were sad to leave Tuesday, back to the grind. We plan on making a summer trip back to the Inn. I would HIGHLY recommend the Inn at Stony Creek to anyone. Bill & Joe were so pleasant and just lovely to meet.

Stayed at the inn and I tell you it surpassed what I expected. The food, the service was exceptional. The location of the place was wonderful. All of this was during winter. You can imagine what it will be like for summer or fall which I will return then. Bill and Joe great job and see you in six months!!!

My girlfriend and I planned very little of our weekend in Warwick ahead of time, relying instead on the know-how of Bill and Joe. They were amazingly helpful, telling us the best things to do in the area, giving us detailed directions (complete with hand-drawn maps), and even making reservations for us at our desired restaurants. They knew of every place, every menu, every shortcut. If you want a worry-free vacation look no further.

We had the good fortune to spend our third New Year's at the Inn at Stony Creek this past January. Innkeepers Bill and Joe are gracious and welcoming hosts and every detail of the decor is cozy and elegant. Breakfasts are delicious and relaxing and the Inn is located in a beautiful location.

We had a wonderful stay at Inn at Stoney Creek. The room was great and every detail was in place. The bathroom was a little small, but that is just a minor detail. The all over impression is that this is a perfect place to relax. The breakfast alone is worth the stay. A perfect mix of what we thought of as "typical american", healthy and delightfully served. Bill and Joe are wonderful people and could not have been for helpful. The Inn at Stoney Creek are loacated in wonderful surroundings. We absolutely recomend it.

I stayed at the inn with my wife for a few days over the holidays while we were in town from Southern California to visit her family. The inn was very well kept and the service and food were excellent. Bill and Joe, the two innkeepers, are extremely accessible and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. At one point, one of them offered to make me lunch while I sat by the inn’s living room fire on a lazy afternoon. Bill and Joe also detailed their plans to expand the inn by converting the barn into additional rooms (project scheduled for Spring/Summer 2011). The inn was completely full during our four-night stay and every guest seemed to enjoy the peace and quiet. Guests ranged from all ages, from young couples, like my wife and me, to retirement age. This is a great alternative to the hotels in the area, which are relatively comparable in price but not nearly as high quality. I recommend it for folks who are looking to get away from NYC for a weekend – a number of the guests seemed to be New Yorkers looking for a quiet retreat.

If you want a place to go for peace and serenity, Inn at Stony Creek is the exact place to experience just that. It is very cozy and charming! There is so much beauty to soak up in it's surroundings. Innkeepers, Bill & Joe are so warm and welcoming! They make sure every detail is taken care of. We love it!

Stony Creek is an exceptional B&B. The setting is tranquil, the house is beautifully appointed with tasteful colonial decor, and the rooms are comfortable. We found Bill and Joe to be incredibly hospitable as well. We were a little worried about the location, outside Warwick, but it turned out to be pretty centrally located around lots of local attractions. Very highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights at the Inn. The setting is lovely and serene. There is plenty of acreage to take a stroll or sit on one of the benches on the property. We stayed in the Americana suite and it was larger than I expected. Nice large sitting area. Bathroom looked brand new. All the amenities you need and more.... Breakfast was excellent. Best Egg Souflee I have ever had. Bill, the innkeeper is a wonderful source of local information. He was able to provide us with directions to various wineries and local flavor, and provide some wonderful dining recommendations. I will definitely be back again!

From the first enquiry to the completion of our time we were treated with respect and felt that we were being welcomed into your home. Our bedroom was charming and spacious. Hopefully we will be back in your area and would definately stay again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at the Inn. We felt at home right away. Our room very comfortable (and we are fussy). Bill and Joe were extremely helpful. This B&B is absolutely beautiful!!! A beautiful old home smack in the middle of beautiful country. The innkeepers were very friendly and most accommodating. They served a wonderful breakfast with eggs from their own chicks!! Delicious!! We will definitely be back!!

Bill and Joe are wonderful hosts. We were made to feel right at home. The room was clean, bright and welcoming. We were able to relax, be feed two wonderful breakfasts and provide with warmth and welcome. Bill also provided an excellent recommendation for dinning in the area. I have been to a number of B&Bs and this was among, if not the best experience had.

My wife and I stayed two nights. Bill has done an excellent job developing a first class B and B! Our room,(Sam Houston),was good size, furnished with quality period furniture. Bed, very comfortable and ample natural light during the day. Breakfast was hearty, tasty,and laid the foundation for two days of taking local jaunts to a winery, antique shops, and a wonderful sculpture garden Bill directed us to. Short walking trail at rear of property thru natural grassland and front porch with rockers added to the stay. Highly recommend this Inn and the hospitality Bill provides.

Room was beautiful and breakfast was great. Very relaxing and planning our next trip back.

Arrived at night on Spanktown road which is pretty rural, but the Inn was wonderfully lighted up and welcoming. Innkeeper waited up for us and gave us great advice on dining late in Warwick. Breakfast was very top-notch . The room was cozy with great choices of antique furniture and decoration. Ask Bill about his background in antiques and to look at his scrapbook of the farmhouse to Inn restoration. What a vision. Extensive grounds and preservation area for nature walking. Definitely a way-station for our northern jaunts.
