Westwood Guest Cottage
We are 15 minutes from Oneonta and just a short scenic drive from Oneonta to Cooperstown. The cottage sits in a clearing on 11 acres of woods, perfect for bird watching with hiking and walking trails. The only sound you will hear at night is the sound of crickets, and the cottage is a great get-away. You can just relax and swim in our 20'x 40' heated pool, enjoy a picnic with an outdoor gas grill by the cottage, or have access to many fine, inexpensive, off the beaten path restaurants in the area. What we offer is a vacation experience you will want to repeat. We are a romantic getaway, pet friendly as well as a non-smoking establishment. The cottage sleeps 1-6 with a comfortable living room with a TV/VCR with tapes, and a phone to make reservations wherever you might want to go. We have a fully equipped kitchen and a full bathroom with tub and shower and the living room has two comfortable hotel quality singles.Quilts, linens and towels are provided. A canoe is available for trips along the nearby Susquehanna and Unadilla rivers and for fishing on Lake Otsego in Cooperstown. We are in Historic NY State, amidst many battle sites of American Revolution.

TAKE NYS thruway to exit 16 IT LEADS ONTO Rt 17 (Quickway). ABOUT I 1/4HOURs LATER YOU GET OFF AT Deposit. Take Rte. 8 to Sidney.Take I-88 West to first Unadilla exit (also route 357). After exit turn right onto 357. Go straight to end of road. You will have crossed a bridge, turn left, and take your first right hand turn onto Butternut St(You'll be going under a railroad tressle) Go up the mountain road approx. 3 miles, and you will come to 4 corners- take Fred Braun road, which is a right.
