Five minutes from the Cayuga Wine Trail and 12 minutes from Ithaca. Air conditioning, WIFI and televisions with Dvd players are standard amenities in the bedrooms. A full hot breakfast starts your day with delicious tastes and smells. Come be pampered in historic charm with modern amenities.
Indulgence has it all, a king bed with ultra-comfortable pillowtop mattress, a black marble fireplace controlled by remote, 40" flat screen HDTV and a Bose Wave radio/cd player. The gorgeous and huge bathroom features an oversized two person whirlpool tub and an equally large custom walk-in shower with body sprays and a rainhead. Indulge yourself in life's luxuries!
A massive walnut canopy queen bed is the focal point of this room, topped with our wonderful pillowtop mattress encased in soft and silky cotton bedding. The warm colors of ruby red and gold bring romance to life. Amenities include a large TV with Dvd, CD player, writing desk, and a spacious ensuite bathroom with a two-person Jacuzzi tub/shower.
Serenity is not just the name of this guestroom, it describes the atmosphere as well. The king sized hand-carved mahogany bed has the Sealy premium pillowtop mattress we have become known for, and the new built-in mantel has our first waterfall feature as well as the large HDTV and Dvd player. A reading chair and ottoman, two chairs and a table complete this guestroom. The ensuite bathroom has a large custom walk-in shower. And, of course, WIFI is throughout the house!
This tranquil room features a more contemporary feel and has a queen size mahogany bed with a commanding view of the beautiful gas fireplace and HDTV with Dvd player. There is an oversized reclining wing-backed chair that seats two and a spacious table and chairs. Elegance is a bright and sunny room with three huge windows. WIFI and an ensuite bath with a very large custom tiled shower round out this room quite nicely.
The beautiful custom-made queen iron canopy bed with a flirt of fabric and our oh-so-comfortable pillowtop mattress will cocoon you as if you were in a chamber in a castle. The walls are covered in an ivory fabric, and a writing desk and reading chair complete the decor. There is a flat screen HDTV with Dvd player, WiFi and an ensuite bathroom with a tumbled marble shower. The Chamber may be our smallest room, but it is big on romance and comfort!

We have been to the Halsey House B&B several times and each was a better experience than its predecessor. We have stayed in three different rooms, all of which were large, spotlessly clean, warm and inviting with great pillow top mattresses that provide for a restful sleep. Some had whirlpool tubs, others had great two person showers and all had fireplaces or waterfalls and robes. We almost wanted to just stay in the room but the common areas were equally inviting, especially the porch and the firepit area where we enjoyed some wine and cheese purchased on our daytrips. KC offers up a delicious breakfast and Mitch is a font of knowledge about the area and offers great suggestions for off site excursions.

My friend and I stayed at the Halsey House over the Columbus Day holiday and it was wonderful! Each evening after a day of hiking or wine trails, we spent relaxing by the firepit with good company next to the lovely waterfall on the side yard. The breakfasts served each morning were truly 5 star. They not only tasted amazing but the presentation was beautiful too. Making the destination even better was the innkeepers KC and Mitch's relaxed and fun personalities. Thanks to both for a lovely weekend. We will be back!

What every inn should strive to be. KC and Mitch have crafted a wonderful Bed and Breakfast experience. The home is beautifully renovated with just the right balance of historic charm and modern amenities. Mitch and KC are gracious hosts, witty and accommodating without being overbearing or intrusive. Do not miss the Halsey House Pecan Muffins. They were the pinnacle of our delicious and expertly presented breakfasts. Of our fifteen or so B&B experiences, this was one of the best. Thank you guys so much for giving us such a wonderful memory for our vacation. John and Tammy Starr

The Halsey House is just beautiful. The private rooms and bathrooms are wonderful. We had the privilege of staying in both Margret's Retreat and Indulgence. Indulgence truly was indulgent!! The bathroom was fantastic. All of the rooms are beautiful. The home is warm and the innkeepers are so hospitable. I have dietary issues and they were very open and genuinely interested in finding the best breakfast for me. We got to visit with their pets. I highly recommend this beautiful break from regular life.
