An 1829 Federal style mansion listed on the National Register of Historic Places located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. Five minutes from the Cayuga Wine Trail and 12 minutes from Ithaca. My friend and I stayed at the Halsey House over the Columbus Day holiday and it was wonderful! Each evening after a day of hiking or wine trails, we spent relaxing by the firepit with good company next to the lovely waterfall on the side yard. The breakfasts served each morning were truly 5 star. They not only tasted amazing but the presentation was beautiful too. Making the destination even better was the innkeepers KC and Mitch's relaxed and fun personalities. Thanks to both for a lovely weekend. We will be back!

This B&B is the Most Beautiful we have ever stayed in and the service is above all the rest.We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the consistant comittment to insuring that we had a wonderful weekend stay.We would highly recommend the Halsey House to all of our friends.We are planning on returing in the very near future.Thanks Kc and Mitch.

What every inn should strive to be. KC and Mitch have crafted a wonderful Bed and Breakfast experience. The home is beautifully renovated with just the right balance of historic charm and modern amenities. Mitch and KC are gracious hosts, witty and accommodating without being overbearing or intrusive. Do not miss the Halsey House Pecan Muffins. They were the pinnacle of our delicious and expertly presented breakfasts. Of our fifteen or so B&B experiences, this was one of the best. Thank you guys so much for giving us such a wonderful memory for our vacation. John and Tammy Starr

Serenity is not just the name of this guestroom, it describes the atmosphere as well. The king sized hand-carved mahogany bed has the Sealy premium pillowtop mattress we have become known for, and the new built-in mantel has our first waterfall feature as well as the large HDTV and Dvd player. The Halsey House is just beautiful. The private rooms and bathrooms are wonderful. We had the privilege of staying in both Margret's Retreat and Indulgence. Indulgence truly was indulgent!! The bathroom was fantastic. All of the rooms are beautiful. The home is warm and the innkeepers are so hospitable. I have dietary issues and they were very open and genuinely interested in finding the best breakfast for me. We got to visit with their pets. I highly recommend this beautiful break from regular life.

We had a wonderful stay at the Halsey House. The B&B is classy, yet comfortable and cozy. Very inviting with such attention to detail. Our room was over the top, and enjoyed every minute. We'll be back.
