Copper Beacons Bed and Breakfast

  • Inn Details

One of the first of the “Grand Houses” in the Ithaca, New York area, this 200-year-old federal was modeled on northern New England farmhouses. Filled with family heirlooms, the house is spacious and affords privacy to our guests, yet there are special gathering places, large and small. Our hearty farm breakfast, which is prepared to your order, begins your day. The forty acres of farmland, where we garden herbs organically, allow you to stretch your legs. A sense of history and the serenity of an earlier era surrounds this place just 10 miles north of Ithaca.

I booked the Copper Beacons B&B for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay with Gerry and Eileen. They were so gracious and the room was fantastic (highly recommend the Fitzgerald Room). The bathroom was clean and sheets/towels were replaced daily. The morning breakfast was superb and cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended and will come back multiple times!

Dogs came to greet us when we arrived. They have an Herb shop in the back which had a nice cozy fireplace. The Inn has a recreation room with TV, pool table, darts, games, etc. which we enjoyed. Breakfast was nice, and our hostess told us the history of the Inn and its furnishings. We enjoyed our stay.
