The King Bedroom The King Bedroom has a spacious king bed, an en suite private bath and is appointed with antique décor.
The Queen Suite has two rooms. One room has the queen bed, dresser, TV and a lot of open space. The adjoining sitting room has a comfy double sofa bed, a second TV and a refrigerator. The Queen Suite has an en suite private bath.
The Queen Plus Room has a queen bed, a single bed and antique décor. The private bath for the Queen Room is at the bottom of the stairs. The room is immediately at the top of the stairs for our guests' convenience.
The Log Cabin is in the woods, just three miles from our B&B site. Up to six guests can comfortably use the three bedrooms, two baths and the spacious living area in the cabin with room for sleeping bags! (There are extra futons for that large crowd!) A large covered porch makes reading, eating, and drinking coffee/cocktails comfortable in a natural and quiet outdoor setting.
Peace and quiet are the rule since you are renting the entire cabin. This home is ideal for a peaceful getaway - no TV, and lots of woods to enjoy.
Lilac Cottage is cozy, comfortable and offers privacy since it is separated from the main house. It sleeps six (two bedrooms), two baths, living room, dining area and a full kitchen. Breakfasts are provided in the main house for cottage guests. The Lilac Cottage also features a private covered deck.

Enjoy a scrumptious country-style breakfast in the country atmosphere of our farmhouse, built in 1840 in the Italianate style. Breakfast will be served to meet your morning schedule.
The Annex encompasses the entire back of our B&B. It has its own private entrance with sliding doors that lead to a private deck and hot tub. The room features a spacious king bed. A single bed sized futon, as well as table & chairs, a dresser and misc. items are also provided.

Circa 1850. A Slice of Home is an country inn, surrounded by fields, a stream and nearby mountains that have hiking and cross-country skiing trails. Located in the Finger Lakes winery district, we are 15 miles from Ithaca and 25 from Watkins Glen. We have four bedrooms with private baths, one with a private entrance, deck and hot tub. A cottage is also available with two bedrooms. Four State Parks are nearby and Cayuga Lake is minutes away. We keep up to date with current info to help you see the important sites and assist you in planning your day with maps and brochures. All guests have the use of the hot tub.

Our friends and we spent two delightfuls days at this Wonderful B&B. It was sparkling clean, the accomodations were superb, the food was fantasatic and the hosts were the most gracious and hospitable. We cannot wait to return next year. We had a nice stay at A Slice of Home with Bea and Sterling. They accommodated our late arrival, special diet requests for breakfast, and an early breakfast time. They knew the area well and provided a detailed map and instructions to sites at Watkins Glen, Seneca Lake wine trails, Cayuga Lake, and Ithica. The bed and breakfast had additional ammenities not expected such as a hot tub and wireless internet.
