A beautifully maintained house, 4 post bed, and no tv in the room, romatic and plush getaway, and what a gourmet breakfast! Hard to go back to cereal and milk after this! The trip is worth the french toast alone!

The sunsets are spectacular from Shorecrest's private beach on Long Island Sound in Southold, the heart of wine countryPerched on a crest of land overlooking the Long Island Sound and the coast of Connecticut to the North and an inlet of the Great Peconic Bay to the South, Shorecrest is unique amongst Inns on Long Island for it's magnificent sunsets and water views.
Shorecrest's magnificent gardens and summer plantings make a wonderful back drop for photographs and hosting special occasions Shorecrest's Perrenial borders are a garden lovers delight. Starting with the thousands of spring bulbs that start to emerge before winter has even fully departed through to the last flowers of autumn, Shorecrest is a flower lover's dream.
Thousands of Black Eyed Susan's blanket Shorecerest's gardens with a golden waterfall of blossoms in July and August, just a part of the continuing symphony of perrenial plantings that delight the visitor throughout the growing season.Every flower that can possibly grow in our garden has found a home in one corner or another of the garden, and we warmly welcome our feathered friends too, with spacious accommodations!
