This elegant Queen Anne Victorian B&B is located in the heart of the village of Skaneateles; across the street from the lake; and one block from the quaint shops and restaurants. Built in 1894, each room is filled with antiques, hardwood floors and oriental rugs. Each guestroom features luxuriously thick mattresses the finest linens, as well as oversized and overly thick towels and robes. All baths are "En Suite" and vary between an old footed soaking tub and a modern shower. Guests love to watch the sunrise over Skaneateles lake; walk the village sidewalks past mansions of a bygone era; sail, play golf or watch a band concert in the park across the street while sitting on the wicker filled porch. Or curl up by the fire with a book from our extensive library. For availability, please see the web site.
The Stella may be our most romantic room with its king size bed tucked into an alcove of windows. The antique cherry Empire period chest and armoire are accented with Irish linens and tassels. The attached bath is bright and has a walkin shower. Extra towels are rolled up in a coal scuttle and in an oak clock key cupboard.
Has the best view of both Skaneateles lake and the village. It is best described as handsome with it's 19th century Renaissance Revival queen size bed and furnishings. The large attached bath with its ornate window looking out at the lake, has a stall shower and plenty of room for your toiletries.

Our room was very comfortable, the house was extremely conveniently located close to to town and lake, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.

We loved the location, the close proximity to the lake and village, etc. The house and room were very nice, but a little run down seeming for the price. (ie. in room the border was peeling off and there were cracks and patches in walls and ceilings that needed repair. The sign on the house outside had cobwebs and debri on it.. Just a tiny bit more attention to detail like that would have been nice)

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Lady of the Lake in June 2014. It was surprising to find a B & B of this quality that accepts dogs. We enjoy travelling with our black Lab and she was more than welcome. Breakfasts were delicious and filling, amenities plentiful, and the hosts accomodating and helpful, quick to offer to look up tourist information and to see to our comfort. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The B & B is located right in the heart of town, parking is convenient and there are a number of quite good restaurants just down the street. We will not hesitate to stay here again when in the area.

Stayed at the bed and breakfast for business. Felt like home the moment I walked through the door. I fell in love with the house and Katie Severance is quite the cook! Will be staying here again soon!
Thank you so much for the compliment! I look forward to seeing you again soon!

We spent 3 nights at the Lady of the Lake. The breakfasts were terrrific, and we particularly appreciated the maple leaf pancakes the first morning. We also loved the Canadian Flags on the porch. Our hosts were very attentive, without being intrusive. We would stay here again.
Glad to hear you enjoyed our stay and my cooking! The maple leaf shaped pancakes have been a hit for the fall as well as with our many Canadian travelers! I love all of the Canadian residents we have staying at the inn...friendly and a lovely accent.
