Delicious breakfast. Very accommodating. Rooms were cold.
Thank you for your feedback. Adirondack winters create some issues that are difficult. During restoration of our 1870'a house, we decided to leave the original windows with the unique wavy glass. The downside is that they are not energy efficient. Individual differences in comfortable temps vary from guest to guest and some rooms have more old windows than others. We do have individual electric fireplaces in the rooms for supplemental heat. As the comfort of ALL our guests is important, we discussed this issue and will make adjustments.

Great B&B! Felt like home - Nancy and Larry were wonderful! Hospitality amazing. Breakfast was spectacular. 5 stars!
We appreciate your review. We have been very busy and thank all our clients for the past 10 years. We are looking forward to some down time during the slow month coming up to maintain and improve the inn. Thanks.

This was our first experience at a B&B. Our kids gave us a gift certificate for B&B.com last year. we were looking for a place that would not be too crowded and yet offer amenities . we found just that at the Tumble Inn. The rooms were well appointed ,clean and cozy. Nancy and Larry were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was incredible!! A five course wonder.Lunch was only an option after that . The Tumble Inn is a place where you can make quick friends, enjoy a beautiful area without having to leave the Inn or you can go hiking all day like we did and come back to a cozy room, hot bath and a great night's sleep. We would recommend it to anyone who needs a little R&R from the everday routine.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the gift that you were given. We also thank you for the lovely review. Things get awfully hectic for us and we hope to use the slower times to make improvements and changes. Maybe we'll give ourselves the gift of a trip with a b and b stay!

A lovely renovated classic lake home. Nancy & Larry were very nice, accomodating, and my stay was very pleasant. Surprising, sumptous breakfast, best I'd had in some time. Very comfortable bed & room, The property was very pretty, as is the Schroon Lake area, and quiet.
Thank you for the kind review and we do hope you will come again.

I recently brought some of my students up to attend a weekend of SnowCamp at Word of Life Bible Institute. WOLs leader's housing was full so I turned to B&B.com to find a local place to stay. Everything was fantastic: very clean, beautiful rooms, gorgeous home and Nancy and Larry were very friendly/accommodating! Upon arrival, I realized that I booked the wrong room online (I was hoping for the Spring Room with the big cast iron tub) and Nancy had no problem letting me switch at no cost (even though I believe the Spring room was more expensive than the Summer room I had mistakenly booked). It was a great experience and I will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises! Thank you! Rev. Gregory Anglen Youth Pastor- Lynbrook Baptist Church
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for all your positive comments. If you ever are back in the area, stop by to say hello. We are certainly happy you enjoyed your stay.

Nancy (Larry was out of town) is a fabulous Chef and hostess. The breakfasts were gourmet! We went for hiking. It is close to the High Peaks we climbed. Guests at Tumble Inn were friendly & wise.
Thank you for leaving a review. We hope you enjoyed your stay. I take your comments seriously. At the time of your stay in August, with my husband out-of-town and a wedding I attended, I am not sure things were as perfect as I would have liked. I am working on a plan for when one or both of us can't be at the inn. Hope to see you again.
Roses and the hues of an Adirondack sunset invite you to relax. Offers a partial lake view and a king sized bed (or two twins). Private bath with a claw foot tub and modernized shower. Electric fireplace offers summer ambiance and winter warmth. A third person may be added for an additional $15.
Our most requested room. It has high ceilings and offers filtered lake views with a king sized bed. The decor is marked by spring violets and mirrors. A comfortable chair and writing desk add to its appeal. There is an electric fireplace for summer ambiance and added winter warmth. The private bath features basket weave wainscoting and a claw foot tub with modernized shower.
A room with a feeling of being on the slopes of yesterday. Decorated with an Olympic flair. Features a queen sized bed, with a private bath housing a claw foot tub and modernized shower. An electric fireplace adds summer ambiance and added warmth in the winter.
The colors of fall and changing leaves make this a vibrant room. The room has a king sized bed (or two twins)with a private modernized full bathroom with double sinks and granite countertop. An additional room with 2 twins can be added for an additional $75 making this an excellent choice for families or groups of four.

I am a retired helath/PE teacher. I have loved the Adirondacks and all it has to offer since a young child. Each season brings a unique offering: skiing, x country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, swimming, kayaking, boating, waterskiing or tubing, white water rafting, golfing, volleyball (I used to coach), tennis, pickleball... I love it all. On the quiet side, I do enjoy sewing, reading and crafting, but it's hard to get me to sit still.
