Everything about staying at Pine Grove Lodge was better then I'd hoped. The web site and reviews all looked great but seeing is believing. Mark was a friendly a gracious host. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the rooms were comfortable and welcoming. Then there was the backyard. So peaceful and serene. Only stayed one night but if I was ever in the neighborhood again this would definitely be the retreat I'd head to.

This place is heaven on earth.

I would like to preface this review with this important fact. This is my first review of anything...ever. I really hope I can give a review that comes at least close to conveying what a wonderful experience we had last weekend at The Pine Grove Lodge B&B. Outstanding everything. The overall experience we had at the Pine Grove Bed and Breakfast is hands down the best ever. Nowhere I've ever stayed compared to this. The host Mark is incredible and apparently a gourmet chef, breakfast is so delicious and the little breakfast nook overlooking the scenic pines is so charming. The lodge is one of the most interesting buildings I've ever been to. Kudos to the architect! I spent about 2 hours one morning just taking pictures of the decor which was picked out by someone of considerable talent. Apparently it took several years of searching to find all these pieces. Stained glass, skylight, pine logs, roaring fireplaces, hidden little nooks everywhere. Hot tub, pool, goldfish pond, the most beautiful bar ever all together with a super nice, laid back host make this a perfect destination to anyone who needs to get away and enjoy the beautiful serenity of being basically in the middle of the woods surrounded by country charm, amazing taste and sincere hospitality. The biggest thumbs up I can give. Tell Buster their cool and lovable 13 year old grey tabby cat hello for me. Vincent
