Situated on a hill overlooking the spectacular Pochuck Creek Valley, our beautifully restored 1855 Victorian Farmhouse is well known for its warmth and comfort. We are located at the bottom of Glenwood Mountain and are surrounded by natural beauty! All of our bedrooms are furnished with antiques and feature amenities such as queen canopy beds, private baths and A/C.
Our Cottage Suites and The Misty Valley Suite feature heavenly Victorian or canopy beds, large private baths with a whirlpool tubs for two, separate tile showers and plenty of candles! Hearty Country Breakfast served at your convenience in either our formal dining room or outside on the enormous wrap around front porch overlooking the valley below. Our Cottage Suites may choose breakfast delivered to their rooms. Having lived here all of our lives, we can tell you about secret places to have romantic picnics or an unusual country drive, as well as the best places to dine or just hang out! Only 1 hour drive from NYC, 8 miles from Mountain Creek Ski Resort, and 10 minutes from the Historic Village of Warwick with its outstanding restaurants, shops and galleries as well as Drive-In Movie Theater, wineries, orchards and farmer’s markets. • Take the NYS Thruway north to the Harriman exit.
• Take Rte. 17 to exit 124 (Goshen/Florida).
• Make a left at traffic light at end of ramp.
• At next light make a left onto Rte. 17A.
• (*) Go approx. 2 miles until sign for Pulaski Highway/Pine Island where you will make a right.
• Go 10 miles until you come to the first stop sign. Go straight for 2.8 miles. We are located on the right hand side of Glenwood Road (a.k.a. Rte. 26).
From Pennsylvania:
• Take Rte. 84 east to Rte. 17 east toward NYC.
• Go approx. 4 miles to exit 124 (Goshen/Florida).
• At light end of ramp make a LEFT onto Rte. 17A.

From Newburgh or Connecticut:
• Take Rte. 84 west to Rte. 17 east toward NYC.
• Go approx. 4 miles to exit 124 (Goshen/Florida).

• Take 287 north to Rte. 23N approx. 14 miles
• Take Highland Lakes/Vernon/Rte. 515 exit.
• Follow for approx. 10 miles until you come to a traffic light (Vernon).
• Continue straight through light on 94 North for about 1/10th of a mile. Make first left onto Rte. 644.
• At end of road make a right onto 517 North.
• Go 3.5 miles. We are the third house on the left over the NY/NJ border.

Policy
Because we have a very small B&B cancellations greatly affect us. All Cancellations are subject to a $25 Booking Fee. Cancellations or date changes received less than 7 days (or 30 days for holidays or group bookings) before stay is to begin will be charged full amount for all nights and rooms booked. A change of date is considered a cancellation of the current reservation. In the event of an emergency or last minute cancellation due to weather, YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT FOR ALL ROOM NIGHTS BOOKED UNLESS YOU PURCHASED TRIP INTERUPTION PLAN AT TIME OF BOOKING. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing and be assigned a cancellation # to be valid. Messages left on voice mail by the guest are not a confirmed cancellation, please follow up with an email and request your cancellation # to print out for your records.
The Glenwood House B&B provides a non-smoking environment for the comfort of our guests. Smoking in the rooms will result in a $250.00 cleaning charge. Smoking is not permitted in any of our rooms at any time, however you are welcome to smoke outside. She especially likes meeting and talking with guests and Kevin often refers to her as "Lenny". (he was the one in the book "Of Mice and Men" who pet the rabbit to death because he loved it too much!)Kevin loves to fly his 1946 Taylorcraft which Andrea refers to as "The Flying Lawnmower"! He is also known as "Dr. Dolittle" for his love of animals. - The innkeepers speak: English, German, Italian
