    Ambience in Wine & Lake Country - Our 1700's National & State Historic Register home sits on top a knoll on 5 shaded park-like acres. A historic village home, once the residence of Penn Yan's founder. On the wine trail and within a short walk to village shops, restaurants, lakeside parks. Relax in solitude under majestic white pines or chat with others in the sitting room. All guest rooms have queen size beds, private in room baths, TV/VCR/AC/wireless access. An elegant full candlelit breakfast is served in the dining room or weather permitting, on the wicker-furnished veranda.

    My husband and I stayed for three nights 10/5 - 10/8/2011 and found it charming, clean & very comfortable. We booked the Seyval Room with extra sitting area and were thrilled with location - easy walk to town for meals; nice outdoor space and on hill overlooking Lake Keuka. Breakfasts were delicious . Will definitely come back next year.

    My daughter and I stayed here while she was on a college visit. Our stay at the inn was perfection. Great room, lovely surroundings, with the best food. Terrific service and accommodation. Cathy not only represented her inn but also gave us such a warm introduction to the area. Lovely, warm affect for us, which definitely influences the college choice. Can't wait to go back.

    My wife and I along with another couple recently enjoyed a perfect stay at this inn. We had a chance to relax and get reaquainted in a quiet atmosphere. The 200 plus year old home was clean and well maintained and the large yard and grounds made us feel as if we stepped back into time on this historic estate. The breakfasts were scrumptious and gave us a headstart on our day visiting area wineries and antique shops. The location was very convenient to lakeside dining and two wine trails. We look forward to visiting again. We just wanted to also thank the innkeeper for being so accommodating and helful.

    A peaceful weekend getaway started off perfect with our stay at Wagerer Estate b&b. The innkeeper was helpful in directing us to local hiking paths and great rasturants. Breakfast was terrific, and more than enough to keep us energized throughout our day! Rooms were clean and comfortable, and quiet! Would recommend this b&b to everyone!

    this was my first experience and it was much more than I had expected, Would definitely go back to Wagners. Cathy was a wonderful hostess. Her breakfast were great. My wife and I had a wonderul time
