    A new property with old world charm, high ceilings and amazing detail. The Inn is frequently described as beautiful, cozy and relaxing. Your hosts will spoil you with gorgeous linens, and absolutely lovely accommodations. The Inn has received much recognition for the "delicious and amazing" food prepared each morning using the freshest local ingredients. Christopher, resident chef-owner will impress you with seasonal warm creations to get your day started right. Darolyn is your personal concierge and will tend to all the details of your escape. The Inn is located in the heart of Wine Country, on the North Fork Wine Trail, so you can walk to many of the local wineries. Darolyn and Christopher are also the creators of 'Wine Camp' and know all the wineries, the owners and winemakers very well. They are happy to help design a special getaway, customized to meet your every need. There are always special events posted on the website that include cooking classes and wine dinners. We hope to welcome you very soon at The Harvest Inn!

    Innkeepers Description:

    Darolyn and Christopher retired from the corporate world to pursue their passion for food and wine. They have lived in Europe and several cities in the US, but have always been drawn to the beautiful east end of long island, and the local bounty from the sea, farms and wineries. They enjoy growing their own herbs and continually creating new taste treats for guests. Darolyn and Christopher created the Wine Camp Program and also invite guests to join them for special events throughout the year.

      If you are planning on driving to the Inn: You can take the more scenic route through our lovely villages. Take the Long Island Expressway (I 495) east to the last exit #73, Greenport/Orient. Merge onto Rt. 58 (Old Country Road), which becomes Rt 25 (also known as the Main Road). Continue East on Rt25 for about 17 miles. When you see the "Peconic" town sign, look for Raphael Vineyards on the right side of the road. We are the third mailbox east of Raphael. You will see the sign for the Harvest Inn as you approach. or The shorter route for those in a hurry to reach the Inn... You can take exit # 71, and at the stop sign on the exit make a left. Proceed to the first stop light. Continue on that road to the second traffic light and make a right on Sound Avenue. Follow Sound Avenue for several miles. After it becomes four lanes you will go through a few traffic lights, and see a BP Gas station on your right and a sign for Peconic, after that sign take your next right (Peconic Lane) and proceed to the end. Take a right. You will pass Indian Neck Lane on your left, the Inn is the next driveway on the left. If you pass Raphael Vineyards you have gone too far....

    Darolyn and Chris are very knowledgeable of the area, wines, cooking, restaurants and how to direct their guests to have a nice time. The room was impecable like you can eat off the florr and while we stayed there they created a friendly atmosphere for everyone who was there. Definetely stay here; don't give it a second thought.

    Absolutely the best B&B my husband and I have ever stayed at. Delicious gourmet breakfasts & the most hospitable, friendly & knowledgeable innkeepers. We highly recommend it!

    Harvest Inn has everything you could want in a weekend getaway -- hosts who cater to your every need, delicious breakfasts prepared by a gourmet chef, wraparound porch with rocking chairs and loungers to relax, and gorgeous, clean, beautifully decorated rooms with private baths & jacuzzis. We've been there several times & loved it every time.

    The weekend you provided my wife and I with was the most rewarding and relaxing time away together that we have been fortunate enough to have. Overwhelmingly the best hospitality... I will recommend the B&B to disappear to! Thank you again.
