We stayed with Doc & Betty for our 2nd consecutive year. Last year was wonderful, but this year even better. They make us feel like family. Their home is warm & comfy and we feel like it's ours too. And Doc & Betty are wonderful people. Very thoughtful and very interesting, with many, many experiences to share. Diane & I are already planning for next year...2011.

We stopped at the Professor's Place four years ago when our daughter was a freshman at one of the near by Universities and so glad we did! In the past four years we have enjoyed many stays at the Professor's Place and great times with Doc and Betty. Their home is very comfortable and they are surrounded by beautiful trees and gardens. Doc and Betty are amazing people and we enjoy many assorted conversations. The breakfasts are always incredible, just a great way to start your day. We always look forward to our next visit and hope to continue to visit even after our daughters graduation. The Manderfield's

Stayed at the PP for two nights as I waited to cross the border with a collectable car in tow. Really only required a room and a safe place to park the trailer. The room was nice, the location is what I would term a "hobby farm" type of property. Nothing extravigent, but clean and well suited to my purpose. A nice surprise was the grandson Josh who was put in charge while I was there. Terrific host, very pleasant, and a great cook! Made the otherwise non-descript stopover a real pleasure. Cheers Josh! Staying with Betty & Doc for 3 nights has been the best B&B experience we've ever had. They made us feel at home, just like family. Their home is just fabulous, inside & outside. Located in the countryside, was a treat for us, since we are city dwellers at home. Doc & Betty are wonderful, wonderful people and after only 3 nights we felt like family. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and Betty tailored the meals to our wants & needs. We are already planning our next visit back.

We have never found a bed and breakfast more accomodating than "The Professor's Place". It is warm, homey and Betty and Doc are incredibly hospitable. We first found this treasure when our daughter began college in the area. We have already decided to continue going to visit the area on a yearly basis, stay at the Professor's Place and we attribute this to Betty and Doc, whom we have developed a friendship with. Additionally, we look forward to the creative and delicious breakfasts that Betty and Doc prepare. We would never consider staying anywhere else & we attribute this to not only the beautiful surroundings of their home, but also the ability of Betty and Doc to cater to the needs of their guests, ensuring a wonderful visit.
