My wife and I were visiting Niagara Falls for the first time and wanted to stay at an up-scale inn. The Red Coach came highly recommended. The suite we rented was large and well decorated - though showing some signs of wear! The food in the dining room was excellent! Well prepared with very nice variety was presented on the dinner menu. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and inattentive - it appeared that there were too many guests with too few servers! One final comment...our room was not cleaned by housekeeping the day before we checked-out! We were out of our room all day and returned at 8:00 PM to find the room as we had left it in the morning. The night manager offered to clean our room that evening - very disappointing!

Great experience!! Our room was small but extremely clean & beautiful. We didn't spend much time there so that was ok. The service was excellent. The dining room had delicious food and the wait staff treated us like royalty. If you left hungry it was your fault. We did this weekend getaway with three other couples and it could not have been more perfect. Thank you Red Coach Inn!!

This was our first time to a B&B, I purchased the stay from the living social website so I was not sure how it would turn out. It was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and I must say we were blown away. Although it is on the NY side of Niagara Falls, the border is literally right there. The room had some modern amenities but some older that gave it the B&B feel. The food was OUTSTANDING and the service was just as nice. We are definitely planning our next trip here soon.

the staff was wonderful. The location is great. The cleanliness of the room and the quality of the finishings is excelent. We enjoyed the outside nature of the room for privacy reasons.....we didn't hear people in the halls. The food was top shelf in the restraunt. The staff is to be commended for the personal service/ touch, so lacking in the chaions. We will stay here again!

I was not sure what to expect when I booked the Red Coach Inn through a Living Social escape, but was absolutely satisfied. The room was spacious, with soft classical music playing, and had a jacuzzi as well as complimentary champagne and fruit and cheese plate. YUM. Breakfast was complimentary and instead of the usual yucky buffets, we got to choose anything off of the menu- wow! I was a little put off by the unfriendly staff at registration but the waitress was very nice.

My husband brought me here for my 50th birthday. It was an outstanding surprise. We love the Inn and plan on making this one of our favorite places to get away and relax. I recommended the Red Coach Inn to all my friends, family and coworkers.

If you are looking for more than smiles when traveling than look no more. Staying at the Red Couch Inn is a delight. All other hotels should take a lesson from here. Not only are you greeted with smiles but manors as well. The restaurants meals are very delicious. Many wonderful surprises await you if you decide to stay at the Red Couch Inn.

Restaurant was in total disarray the first night. Seemed like no one was in charge Reservation for 8 PM but not seated till 8:40 PM (Even though three tables were available. That first night, service was subpar and food was not up to the 4 Star dining I have experienced there before. Changed rooms for the second night to an upgrade but it had not been cleaned. Was immediately moved to another upgraded room that was exceptional. Breakfast was delightful with the food back to 4 Star standards as was the second day's breakfast. Waitress (Christine) was top notch. I do accept that there has been a recent change in managing companies and based on several past visits that were delightful, that the restaurant debacle was an aberration that I believe will disappear with competent management. Having said all of this, will I return to the Red Coach Inn on my next trip to Niagara Falls? YOU BET. The Red Coach Inn is a beautiful place in a wonderful location. The staff seemed genuinely friendly and eager to provide good service. The food, based on past experience, can be superb and the anbiance of the streetside enclosed patio with a view of the churning Niagara River Rapids is really something to behold. I wish everyone at Red Coach Inn the very best and hope to see some of them again my next time at The Falls.

This LOCATION can't be beat. We walked to all the Niagara park areas and seeing and hearing the rapids right out our window was really special. The breakfast every morning was excellent and all the other meals were perfect. Be aware, if you book a 3rd floor room that you must carry all your luggage up the stairs.... We would recommend this Inn to all and even if you don't stay here take time to eat here.

This was by far the nicest inn we have stayed at. We were welcomed warmly and treated with the utmost care. The accomodations were far beyond our expectations and the food was exceptional. Kudos to everyone!

I have never stayed at a more relaxing, personal, and wonderful place. Cannot say enough about it. The breakfast! To die for literally. Best ever! And service and caring attitude.....would recommend this to anyone, anytime, anywhere. Just relaxing, clean, beautiful.....do not think of another place...stay here!

Lovely B&B very close to the American Rapids. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Amenities were above par (coffee in room was strong and hot). Staff was well informed and helpful. Restaurant service was dreadful. Not certain if it was the kitchen or the young wait staff, but when we sat for breakfast our food was brought out, we were asked for anything else was needed and we had no utensils, napkins or condiments.

What a nice, serene location in a busy, busy, tourist area. Rooms are charming with extra special decor to make you feel like you are home. Breakfast on the patio every morning, and you can order anything off the menu, as much as you like. We also had a couple of evening meals there, which were out of this world. Restaurant service was very good. The Inn is located not far from the American Falls, so you can walk to almost anything on the U.S. side, or take the trolley which is only $2 a day. We also walked the Rainbow Bridge to Canada, an easy walk. The Canada side is very busy with a lot of people, cars, and high rise hotels. Parking is very expensive there, so leave your car at the Red Coach, especially on weekends. Niagara Falls Visitor Information recommended a Canadian side tour bus, which worked out well as everything is spread out and would have required a lot of walking. We had a couple problems with Red Coach Inn housekeeping not leaving adequate supplies, and when we called to the front desk in the evening, we never did get the supplies that day. But we were thrilled to stay here and feel it was a good value since it included breakfast, free parking, refrigerator/microwave, and a very comfortable room. We highly recommend you stay here!

Went here for our 5th anniversary! The place is beautiful inside and out! We only ate breakfast in the restaurant, and it was delicious!! We will definitely be returning here!!

Honeymooned at Red Coach Inn in 1972. Returned for our 40th Anniversary to find totally newly furbished rooms. The restaurant is still a 3diamond one. Food is fabulous but found the wait staff efficient but not very friendly. The hosts were very accomodating but very busy. (stressed?). We had a wonderful experience.

Red Coach has the best location of any hotel or B and B in Niagara Falls on the US side. Everything is within walking distance or the park shuttle bus stops yards away from the Inn. An older building that has a few small inconviences, but more than makes up for them with it's great charm and delicious food. If weather permits, eat at the reataurant's outside seating with the nice view of the rapids. We stayed for three nights and never needed to use our car. We will be back.

I have been here twice now. Each time the staff has been lovely and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable. The location is perfect. We walked to the Falls from the Inn very easily. The restaurant is delicious. I ordered the pork chops and was amazed how much food I received. Only down side is the servers in the restaurant seem young and slightly inexperienced at times. That is the only area I have not been impressed. It is perfect for a romantic weekend get-away or even a little overnight stay. Highly reccommend it and we will be back.

Red Coach is a charming spot. Excellent location close to the US falls. The neighbourhood is a tad scary, but maybe will be revitalized?? The dining room is beautiful, lots of character. Servers are well versed in French Service, which was a very pleasant surprise. room was lovely and welcome fruit and champers wasa very nice touch. Front of house staff were A+, which is very important. We'll be back.

The Red Coach Inn was so much more than we expected. The people were friendly and professional, the room was beautifully designed and very clean, the food was delicious, the location was excellent as we could walk to the falls and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Our stay was just an overnight get-away, a two hour drive from our hometown in PA, but we felt re-energized, relaxed, and delighted we'd found such a treasure so close to home. Thank you, Red Coach Inn, for a lovely experience.

Literally you can walk to the falls in a few min from here. It is so worth coming here -- apart from convienience to the falls the room remind me of a little English Inn and the staff could not have been nicer or more friendly. I will definetly be back.

It was a quaint room with some nice touches. Complimentary cheese, crackers and fruit tray and Champagne. Chocolates. Coffee maker with real coffee and real half'n half. Microwave and fridge. Comfortable bed. Nice music on the radio. Privacy. Clean and attractive. Awesome breakfasts! Conveniently located near the park and falls. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed for 3 nights and the rooms were Great! Fit the needs of our family perfectly. We had 4 rooms booked and everyone enjoyed their stay. We also had a wedding reception in the private dining room upstairs and the food was vey good! The staff were very helpful in the set up and ongoing activities of our event. The dining room was very cozy with a wonderful warm atmosphere and the snow and ice were just beautiful overlooking the grand Niagara River. We hope to come back soon! Thank you for everything

We booked a room here mostly for the location - literally, right across from the American side of the falls. The location didn't disappoint, but if you're expecting a view of the falls from the room you won't get it in the less expensive rooms. The room was charming, if on the small side. The bath was a jacuzzi tub, and they did provide a free tray of cheese and crackers, which was nice. The only complaint was that the room did smell like somebody had smoked in it. I'm very sensitive to smells, but my boyfriend isn't, and even he complained about the smell. For the price, this seemed pretty tacky. Conclusion: from the website and the price, I was expecting a pretty high-end B&B, and it was a big deal to splurge on this room. After staying there, I concluded that the whole price is from the location. There are many other B&B's in town that are still within walking distance to the falls - we stayed at the Butler and were very impressed - and it was about half the price.

Wow, what a disappointment staying in the Torquay Room. First of all the picture here with the falls in front of it certainly wasn't how it looked when we arrived. This "hotel" was downtown and looked nothing like the photo...not at all serene like we expected. Our room had a view of the back parking lot. We checked in around 9:30pm. after driving for 10 hours and with another 10 hour drive to get home the next morning. This was a last minute decision to spend the night instead of driving for another 10 hours that night. We were taken down a street that reminded me of an alley to a side door and up the stairs, down the hall and finally to our room. At first glance everything looked great....nice music, small bottle of bubbly, small cheese tray, big screen TV, big tub and then the bed. The bed, the bed, the bed.....sloped down so that your head was lower than your feet, horrible mattress (very uncomfortable), the bed squeaked and rattled all night. I slept 2 hours the whole night due to it being so squeaky everytime I would roll over. Sheets that you could literally read the paper through and the room temp. was preset so that we could not get it cool enough for us. Tub was nice but the towels felt rough as burlap. The price of 179.00 per night was way overpriced and today I noticed the price change of 229.00. Certainly the owners have not stayed in this room.....otherwise they would have fixed the bed. And the breakfast was just ok....not impressed. Waite staff was excellent however. As current owners of a B&B this "hotel" did not measure up to our standards that we provide for our customers at 1/2 the cost of this one. Don't forget the hidden charges 10% for room tax and front desk gratuity! When one stays at a B&B the 2 things that should be outstanding are the BED and BREAKFAST.....we received neither one at this place. Nothing but disappointment......

The Red Coach Inn was just wonderful! We stayed in one of the newer rooms (The Buckingham). The room was large and spotless. The front office manager, Amanda, showed us to our room where we had a bottle of champagne and a fruit/cheese tray waiting on us as well as Godiva chocolates. Upon departure, she gave us fresh chocolate chip cookies for our trip home. Very nice touches! The bathroom was very roomy with a large Jacuzzi tub, granite countertops and a tile floor. They even provide a black washcloth for the purpose of makeup removal, ladies! We travely quite frequently, and I have never seen this before. There is also a normal size hair dryer - not one of those little useless compact ones. The beds were very comfortable. There is also a Bose radio on the table as well as a large flat screen TV. A refrigerator and coffee maker are also included as well as robes, plenty of extra blankets/pillows and an ironing board. All rooms include breakfast in the restaurant. You can choose anything from the menu. We each tried something different each morning, and everything was delicious! The wait staff was very friendly, although the service was slow at times. The inn is right across the street from the American Rapids/Falls. You can open your window and hear the rushing water. Free parking is included in the back of the inn for guests. The trolley stops not too far in front of the hotel, so we only used our rental car to go to/from the airport and over to Lockport one day. We walked over to the CAN side one day. The Rainbow Bridge is a good walk, but easy and flat. From what we could tell, all of the chain type hotels were packed with people. Since The Red Coach Inn is not very large, that was not the case for us. Very quiet all of the time. If we ever get to return to Niagara Falls, we will definitely stay here again. Do not consider staying anywhere else - pay a few extra $$ and stay at The Red Coach Inn!

Kevin and I are both native New Yorkers, neither of us have ever been to this part of New York State prior to this weekend. We not only saw the great Niagara Falls, we also drove up to see Lake Ontario, Fort Niagara and the Erie Canal, and enjoyed each of these attraction very much. However, staying at The Red Coach Inn, was really the cherry on the sundae. Your accommodations and staff, more than met our expectations and the food at the restaurant was just wonderful. My family and I fell into the lap of luxury at the Red Coach Inn, so much more comfortable and beautiful than the local chain hotels in Buffalo. We especially enjoyed the breakfast that was provided to us in our suite each morning of our stay. It felt as if we were in Europe. We were, however, disappointed with the restaurant's wait staff during dinner, whose demeanor deflated our birthday celebration. That said, the Innkeeper made amends by giving us a fair credit at checkout; other staff members were equally respectful.

My wife and I stayed two nights in the Canterbury Suite. We never had in a B&B so ample space and really nice furnitured rooms. We had dinner there twice, which we enjoyed. The inn is in a very short walking distance to the falls. You don't need the car. Parking space is on the ground. It is a very good and pleasant location when visiting the falls. There is really nothing else in the neighborhood. We really can recommend this inn.

A born and bred Buffalonian who’s been living abroad since 1970, I’ve always loved Niagara Falls more than any place on earth. When I was little and my aunts wanted to give me a special treat, they’d take me to the Red Coach Inn, and so this inn is very special to me. I’d told my French husband many many times how beautiful Niagara Falls is in winter and promised to bring him one day to see the Falls at its very best. But what with jobs, children, school, etc - we didn't get back to see the ice and snow until February 2008. I booked a suite at the Red Coach Inn, hoping that it was still as wonderful as in my childhood memories. I was not disappointed – the people were very friendly and warm, the rooms were very tastefully furnished and we had a fireplace that clicked on, a gorgeous view, an excellent dinner in their lovely dining room (and my husband's French), - I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our stay! AND my husband’s promised to bring me back for another winter visit to Niagara Falls – and the Red Coach Inn, of course!

Great place. Very close to the falls. Every morning we grabbed a cup of coffee and walked across the street to enjoy the rapids, then walked (3 minutes) to the falls. Compared to prices of hotels, this was a good choice for only a small amount more. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, staff polite and a fine restaurant on premise. If you are planning to stay on the American side, this is the place to stay. Casino is 2 blocks away, about a 10 minute walk.
