Go upstairs and take the number 1 or 9 (Uptown) train two stops to 72nd Street. Cross the platform and take the 2 or 3 (Uptown) three stops to 119th Street. Exit on Lenox Avenue, walk two blocks to 118th Street. Cost: $2.00 Time: Door-to-door approximately 2 hours. Alternate route: Taxi from the airport. Cost: $35 (flat fee) + toll ($3.50). Time: 35 minutes. Tell the driver to take the Triborough Bridge. Newark International Airport: Take the Olympia bus to the Port Authority bus terminal at 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue. Then walk along 42nd Street from Eighth Avenue to Seventh Avenue (Times Square). Take the Uptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street. Walk 4 blocks to 119th st..Cost of bus: $11, Cost of subway: $2.00 Port Authority Bus Terminal: Walk one block to 42nd Street and Broadway/7th Avenue. Take the 2 or 3(Uptown) train to 119th Street.
