This is a great example of a B&B that is run by an innkeeper who clearly loves what she does. Kathy provides accomodations that show that she takes her guests comfort and enjoyment as her highest priority. The rooms are immaculate, spacious and filled with great amenities. The grounds are beautiful, and provide lots of opportunities for relaxation and tranquility. She and Arnie are full of information about the attractions in the New Paltz area, and provide maps, passes, etc. that make it so easy to access any of them. The food is delicious, and once again, Kathy goes out of her way to accomodate any dietary issues, or even simple quirks in her guests' menu preferences. We can't wait to return!

This was our third visit to Moondance Ridge B&B. We absolutely LOVE it!! We stayed in the spacious Moondance suite all three times, beautifully decorated with comfy king size bed, mini fridge, huge private bath w/ jacuzzi, TV, DVD, . We love and recommend the Moondance Ridge for the following reasons: - clean, spacious, comfortable, luxurious and beautifully decorated rooms - private bath with shower and jacuzzi in every room - TV, DVD, WiFi in every room - private outdoor porch or indoor balcony in every room - superior service that is friendly, thoughtful & accommodating. Kathy and Arnie are so welcoming and very helpful with suggestions for dining and activities. They are the perfect hostess and host! We love the homeade cookies and brownies as midafternoon snacks. They supplied us with water and granola bars for our morning hike. The place is emaculate and you feel as though you are at your home away from home. Breakfast is incredible! Great weekend getaway! We will be back very soon!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Moondance for 3 days in July, during our daughter's orientation at SUNY New Paltz. It was our first B&B experience, and we are now spoiled for all future B&Bs! First of all, I encourage you to visit the Moondance Ridge website: http://www.moondanceridge.com/ . It is a well designed and easy to navigate site that will show you exactly what everything looks like. We stayed in the spacious Starry Night suite, beautifully decorated with comfy king size bed, wood floors, pull out sofa, mini fridge, huge private bath w/jacuzzi, TV, DVD, private outdoor porch overlooking a pond with weeping willow trees. I recommend the Moondance Ridge for the following reasons: - clean, spacious, comfortable, luxurious and beautifully decorated rooms - private bath with shower and jacuzzi in every room - TV, DVD, WiFi in every room - private outdoor porch or indoor balcony in every room - superior service that is friendly, thoughtful & accommodating. Our needs were anticipated, and our requests were graciously met. - delicious breakfasts that considered our dietary requests (our favorite: the to-die-for pumpkin belgium waffles served with crisp turkey bacon, OJ, and a fresh strawberry & banana smoothie) - complimentary soda, water, fresh fruits, nuts, chocolates, coffee, teas, lemonade throughout the day. Very thoughtful. - spacious common areas that include a large stone fireplace, library of up-to-date DVD/CD/books/board games, comfortable seating, beautiful views, computer, fresh flowers on every table, and an art gallery covering the walls. - well maintained grounds featuring gardens, nature walks though the woods, a pond with frogs, hammocks, seating, sauna - location that is private and close to New Paltz main street with shopping and dining, SUNY New Paltz college, hiking trails, golf I will definitely go back! We stayed at Moondance Ridge Columbus Day weekend 2008. The weather was perfect and so was our stay. Kathy does everything possible to make you feel at home. The fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, cold water in the fridge in the room, dvd's, books, scents for the whirlpool tub, and bathrobes are just some of the little extras that make you feel pampered. The grounds have a wooded paths to walk, a labyrinth, and hammocks to doze in. The common rooms have large windows so you can enjoy the scenery while eating breakfast or sitting by the fire. We can't wait to go back.
