Inn Details
Historically known as the Ebenezer Miller House, the Miller Place Ark, reflects a simpler, more relaxed time. Our three comfortable guest rooms feature queen or full size lofty, allergin-free featherbeds, abundant pillows, cable tv, fireplaces, and private baths. Individually controlled heat and central air-conditioning keep your comfort in mind. Wireless and direct high-speed internet hookups. A full, hearty breakfast, served in our formal dining room, is well worth getting out of bed for. Breakfast can also be enjoyed in our wicker-filled garden room or outside at one of our many sitting areas or by our secluded pool area.

We stayed 10/6/09. Great restored historical house, very clean well decorated. Excellent grounds and hospitality. Highly recommended. Only comment is that like every other B&B on our NE trip, only a continental breakfast was served. Maybe it's just us, but we have come to expect a special breakfast at our B&B stops.

This was a perfect weekend getaway for us! The hosts were gracious, available and took the time to show us interesting nooks and crannies of their amazingly restored historic home. The location was beautiful and relaxing. We loved the pool and the nearby beach. The close proximity of Port Jefferson was also fabulous. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed at this small B&B while on Long Island. Clearly, the owners have taken care to restore the house to its historical roots. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. They steered us in the right direction for great, inexpensive Italian food! The room was clean, cozy, and private. I recommend this place for those who want the quietness that comes with a small town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Miller Place Ark Bed & Breakfast although as the only guests we missed out on one of the things we enjoy the most about staying in B&B's - interacting with other guests. The breakfasts were not as expansive as some of the B&B's we've stayed in, but the food was tasty. As an older home (circa early 1700's I believe), they've had to tuck the small private showers into corners, so a larger person may have difficulty in that area. At 6' 2" and 230 lbs., I was able to make to work, but there was not a lot of room to spare. Overall, the experience was a good one and we'd visit again the next time we were in the area!

Both innkeepers have a special way of maing me feel like their home is my home away from home. It is cozy, clean, and serene. This is my 2nd stay and I will be back again! best B&B ever!
