    Oak Room~ The Oak Room has a queen size bed overlooking the 1910 Sears Roebuck Barn. Lay in bed and enjoy the view of the sun setting over the mountains. The bathroom features original lighting and a functional antique dresser as your sink vanity. You will understand why we call this the Oak Room.

    Birch Room~ This room features a Queen size bed overlooking “Sunnyview” the original farmlands of the Van Benschoeten family, the original owners of this estate. Antique furniture, photos and lighting adorn this historic room. The en suite bathroom features “ Biltmore” blue walls and an antique dresser vanity sink.


    The Emerald Room ~ This regal room is located in the turret of our historic home. It features a king bed, antique dresser, table and sofa overlooking the Catskill state park. It is further complimented by its antique lighting, York Co. wallpaper, and antique photos, plus your feet will love the turn of the century oak flooring. Your large private bathroom features double sink vanity, tub/shower with vintage inspired wallpaper and period photos. Art Garfunkle enjoyed this room while visiting the beautiful Catskills.
    Mauve Room~ This sweet room features a Queen size bed adorned with grandma’s quilt. Original antique lighting and photos decorate the room. Your feet will love the rare wormed wood flooring original to the house. Your private bathroom features a tub/ shower with an antique vanity dresser sink, which tastefully combines the present and the past.
    The Dining room were a fabulous country breakfast is served overlooking the mountains which consist of farm eggs, Carol's famous french toast, waffles, etc. Yummy!

    Satisfying BnB

    Myself, my husband and kid stayed in the Margaretville BnB last week for 3 nites. Had a comfortable stay. Went to the area to see the fall foliage. Had a nice mountain view and Pleasant stay. Peter was hospitable. Breakfast was delicious (especially the blueberry pancakes). The only concern we had was the bathroom with dripping shower and also thought it would have been better if the there was a way to get rid of the trash sometimes in-between during our stay. Though the innkeepers did mention that once we check in they set the room only after we checkout, being with a kid for 3 nites and 4 days we just had trash piled up in the bathroom. Otherwise everything was good. Loved the food, ambience, hot tub and the inn keepers.

    Relaxing Bed and Breakfast

    We wanted to get away before my husband started a new job. It was just what we needed. Quiet, great setting, great breakfasts and charming B&B. We love the older B&B, all their atmosphere and out in the country. Carol and Peter were great hosts. Kathy and Joe

    A perfect weekend in the Catskills

    June 25, 2012

    We have been staying at various BnB's in the Catskills lately and this was definitely one of our best experiences, I've already made another reservation. The rooms were comfortable, the views spectacular, breakfast was delicious(especially the scones and muffins), they have a large hot tub perfect for winding down in a cool summer night. Carol and Peter are very nice, hospitable and attentive. They let us use their grill to cook dinner one night and even gave us directions to the nearest place to pick strawberries. Thanks Carol and Peter!!! We had a wonderful time.

The Master bedroom has a King size bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 Twin beds. 6 Adults sleep comfortably using the Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The per night rates for lodging only at the VILLAGE SUITES are as follows:

    Reservation Policy

    • Check In: 4 - 6 pm    Check Out: 11 am

    • Minimum Stay: Weekends 2 nights. Holiday weekends 3 nights minimum stay.

    • Deposit Amount Required: One night stay amount or 50% of total stay reserved; whichever is greater.

    • Cancellations: Reservations require a deposit equal to one night's stay or 50% of total for two or more nights. Any changes or cancellations made after reservation is placed incurs a $25 fee. Return of deposits only for cancellation made at least 10 days prior to arrival dates. Deposits are otherwise non-refundable. Stays that are shortened without a 10-day notice will be charged under normal cancellation policy. Reservations of three or more rooms require a 30-day cancellation notice plus a 50% advance deposit. These deposits are refundable only for cancellations or changes made at least 30 days prior to the reservation date. A limited 6-month Gift Certificate may be issued in lieu of a refund deposit.
