A nice boutique hotel

For his birthday, I took my fiance to NYC for the weekend. We stayed at 414 Inn for a night. We both liked that this B&B is centrally located to pretty much every touristy spot you'd want to go to when in New York. There are also many restaurants to choice from since it is in a neighborhood they call "Restaurant Row." Our room was small, but it has a very, very comfortable bed with plasma TV, and it's own bathroom. The place is very cozy and clean. The only bad part: not enough room for the guests to congregate and eat breakfast in the lobby. All in all, we'd come here again!

Great for New York

The location of this was great gave us the feeling we were living in New York short walk from times square.

A Delightful Stay!

My husband and I stayed at the 414 in mid September and we had a great time...super duper location on the loveliest street right by restaurant row! The rooms are small but pristinely clean and beautifully appointed..delicious bed, fine towels and linens, flat panel TV and lovely complimentary bath products. There is a small fridge and a safe in the room. A wonderful courtyard with tables and chairs lies between the two buildings for all to enjoy. We ate a fresh breakfast with fresh fruit each morning compliments of our hostess and had access to a computer and printer free of charge. These folks could teach the big hotel chains how to run a fine hotel! And needless to say, the price was absolutely THE best value in NY. Cannot wait to return for another few days of fun! E. I was very dissappointed with my pre-stay service. I made some necessary changes to my reservation only to call and find out that none had been made. I received not even so much as an apology from the hotel. My advice: Get EVERYTHING in writing. Otherwise, the hotel is centrally located right off the restaurant strip which is a lifesaver after a long day of sight seeing.

Hats off to Sakina, Manager

We recently stayed at the 414 HOTEL/INN, the staff has been trained to be so helpful and concerned. First time visitors...this is the place is perfect, location, convenient, great breakfast, and very clean. We will be back--loved the courtyard and heard more amazing changes are taking place.

We stayed at 414 Inn over the 4th of July weekend. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. You could not find a better location just a few blocks from Times Square and many restaurants to choose from. There is no elevator but this was not an issue for us. We were able to drop our bags off early prior to check in which added to the convenience. Would definately stay here again.

Quaint, Quiet and Close

We rented 2 rooms for 2 families Memorial Day weekend 2008. The 1st floor rooms are really small ( no room for a rollaway bed). Four stories and no elevators, so pack light. Very friendly staff and they serve cont. breakfast. Quiet street in the restaurant row area. Beds were comfy, pillows pump and sheets clean and crisp. Very clean and I will be back again. It's a good deal for the money.

Review from Australia

Just returned home to Australia after a fabulous 4 night stay at this great hotel. The room, while small, was very clean, freshly painted and decorated, bed very comfy, with beautiful bed linen. Good breakfast served. Location is tops - two blocks away or 5 minute walk to Times Square and theatres, shopping etc. Lots of restaurants around corner from hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We'll definitely go back!

The site doesn't mention that it is a walkup without an elevator. When we arrived, they quickly changed our room assignment to accomodate my disability. Room was smaller than expected but clean and quite comfortable. Location can't be beat! Very nice staff. We will definitely return.

Supreme find!

My mom and I spend a few days in Manhattan shopping together each year, and took a chance on the 414 Inn last year. We were amazed. The room and bathroom were so clean, the staff was so kind and helpful with directions. They accomodated everything that we asked for. This year, we're staying at the 414 again.

Great Place

The 414 Inn B&B is a very nice place to stay with family or as a romantic get away. Being a single mother, I'd stayed here with two young children (7 and 10). We felt very safe, as the Inn is located in a clean and safe residential area of NYC. Time Square, the theatre district, and restaurants are all within several minutes walk of the Inn. The Inn offers a very nice continental breakfast in the morning, and wine in the evening. The lobby has little cafe tables where you can eat, relax, and dine if you did not want to go out. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My family and I plan on staying at this place the next time we visit NYC!

Best hideaway in NYC !!

I loved this little place. My boyfriend and I lived in the heart of NYC, with great plays and piano bars, and then went back to our room in this cozy hideaway
