We have just spend 3 wonderful weeks in Manhattan residing at the beautiful Wyman House on Riverside Drive in the Upper West Side. We chose Wyman House because it offered something really unique- a comfortable spacious New York Style Apartment, well priced, in a really safe neighbourhood, fantastic location with wonderful parks, trees, shopping, grocery stores and restaurants-too many to mention. Our Apartment was the Penthouse 5W with a luxurious pillow top bed and an amazing view of the Hudson River, New Jersey and Riverside Park. Central Park was only a 10 minute walk down 76th Steet that is if you didnt get sidetracked by the vast array of shopping in the local area around Broadway and 72nd Street. The apartment was so so inviting to come home to after a long day of sightseeing in New York. We could cater for ourselves in our kitchen with the fresh local produce bought from Zabars, Westside Market or Fairways. Dining out was just a short safe stroll up to Broadway or Amsterdam Ave. Access to downtown Manhattan was as easy as crossing the road to catch the M5 which took us right down 5th Avenue. The 1 2 & 3 Subway was only a 5 minute walk away. We bought an unlimited Metro Card for $25 and with this we were able to travel for 7 days anywhere by bus or train around New York-a fantastic, economical, independent alternative to a Yellow Cab! It was a comforting thought knowing the owners Pam & Ron lived just downstairs. They were there for us if we needed them, welcoming yet unobtrusive and we thank you for making us feel that Wyman House was our home as well as yours for the duration of our stay. We especially liked the delicate dish of chocolate biscuits in the foyer awaiting our tired return each day. We will see you again Wyman House.

A comfortable, quiet home away from home. there is nothing more we could have asked for. We had privacy, security, proximity and locally in a chaotic New York city.
