Inn Details

We are in close proximity to SUNY Canton, SLU, Clarkson, SUNY Potsdam and the Crane School of Music. We are 15 minutes from the Canadian Border and 5 min. from the St.Lawrence River. Children are always welcome. Our renovated 1868 farm house features two guest rooms. The River room has a queen sized bed,a twin bed and private bath.Additional twin available upon request. The River Room sleeps 4. The Adirondack room has a queen sized bed, additional twin upon request, and private bath with whirlpool tub and separate shower. This room will sleep 3. We are pet friendly. Pets are accepted at the owner's descretion. Arrangements may be made when reserving your room. North Fork features home made sourdough bread and freshly roasted coffee. North Fork Gifts and St. Lawrence Valley Roasters Coffee Roastery" are both on site. Be sure to come to "The place where everyone feels at home."

    From Clarkson or SUNY Potsdam-(20 min.)Take 345 off of Rte. 11 into Madrid.After going over the bridge, take a left onto County Rte.31(Madrid-Chipman Rd.)At next intersection go straight continuing on County Rte. 31. Turn left onto County Rte.30(Lisbon-Madrid Rd.)At the intersection go straight onto the Baker Rd. North Fork is 7/10 mile up the Baker Rd. on the right. 219 Baker Rd. Gray house with blue shutters.

    The living room features a glass front wood stove. It's a great place to relax and read or just enjoy the warmth of the fire in the winter months.The Adirondack Room has a queen sized bed and private bath jetted tub and separate shower. The room is comfortably furnished  with some Amish made furniture and baskets as well as family pieces, some of which are antiques.
    The Adirondack Room overlooks the back fields and the woods. Watch the deer, turkeys and wildlife from your room. Take in the fabulous night sky or the changing leaves in the fall and the snowy  scene in the winter. The Adirondack room bathroom boasts this wonderfully relaxing jetted tub. Come and Cross Country Ski in the winter months or Snow Shoe on our trails and relax at the end of the day.
    Enjoy our dining room which overlooks the backyard. Watch the humming birds and various song birds while eating breakfast.The River Room has a queen sized bed and a twin. An additional twin bed is available upon request. This room sleeps 4 and has a private bath in the room.
    Enjoy the comfort the River Room has to offer. The River Room sleeps four with an additional twin bed available upon request. Come and snowshoe or cross country ski on our trails in the winter. There's no extra fee but you need to bring your skis with you as we don't rent equipment yet.
    In the winter months come and ski our cross country ski trails. All you have to do is step out the door and put on your skis. There is nothing more peaceful than the woods in winter.
