On a quiet country lane in rural Hyde Park, in the center of the Historic Hudson Valley, you will discover the Willows Bed & Breakfast. The Willows is a lovingly restored 1765 farmhouse with two guest rooms each with private bath. Lee, a Culinary Institute Of America graduate, prepares a hearty breakfast. Indulge yourself with fresh squeezed juice, home made jams, butter, breads, cheeses and sausages. We even have honey from our own hives!!

Nice B&B in a country setting close to many local points of interest. Great play to stay while visiting the nearby CIA and FDR historical sites. There is much to do within a short distance. While here, we enjoyed juices, bread, butter, jam, and sausage...all homemade...courtesy of our Innkeeper, Lee. We enjoyed getting his tips on what to see and do and where to dine during our stay. Recommend this B&B!

Our experience was a celebration of comfort. It is evident that the innkeepers continually search for ways to add details which make the inn excellent. From the homemade soaps in the private bathroom, the several well placed night lights , to the amazing gourmet breakfast - we savored it all. This is a most compementary delight to add to our visit the the CIA and the Roosevelt historic sights.

4.6 out of 5Wonderful B&B!

We just spent a wonderful weekend at the Willows Bed & Breakfast in Hyde Park. The building is quaint and lovely and obviously lovingly cared for. We really liked that there were just two guest rooms, and our room, the Green Room, was great. Lee and Lisa, who own and run the Willows, were really attentive and friendly. We didn't have an itinerary figured out in advance, but Lee gave us great suggestions about farms to visit and events in the area. For foodies like us, the BEST part about the Willows was the breakfasts. We've stayed in plenty of B&Bs that are cute to look at but where the "breakfast" consists of a stale croissant or some other uninspiring fare. The Willows was different - Lee is a graduate of the nearby Culinary Institutue of America, and his breakfasts are lovely. He served things like pancakes with rasberries (from his garden), bananas and candied nuts; sausage that Lee made himself; peaches with cream and shaved white chocolate; an egg soufflé with sweet corn, and freshly squeezed juice. All that made breakfast a good reason to jump out of bed in the morning!

4.0 out of 5Relaxing B & B
October 10, 2007
My wife & I spent two nights at the Willows, a charming B & B nestled in the countryside. Inkeepers Lee & Lisa were avaialable but unobtrusive and were quick to show their garden and beehives which were used in making breakfast. Breakfast was excellent and unrushed-Lee makes his own butter and grinds his flour among other delights. The bedroom was cozy and stocked with complimentary beverages, home-made soap, and other amenities-the bath had a large claw-foot tub for soaking. With Lee being a CIA graduate, this is a great spot for parents visiting their CIA students. Jack & Donna October 5-6 2007
