We enjoyed our stay at Fairlawn Inn a couple of weeks ago. Chuck was a gracious host, he cooked us delicious organic breakfast. Must stay B&B on a visit to Hunter Mountain! Will definitely go back and spend more days there. :) -Angel

I think the Fairlawn is the best B and B in the area, All the details are finely honed and the amenities are superb. Chuck, the host, has experience in the business and knows what is important to guests.

My wife and I spent one night at Fairlawn Inn, and were truly overwhelmed by our experience. Every aspect of the property is meticulously kept and beautifully appointed. The breakfast was was both generous and delicious, and clearly a passion of the owner. The location is also wonderful if you're making use of Hunter Mountain as you're less then half a mile from the entrance. We would highly recommend this B&B, and will stay at Fairlawn Inn again in the future.
Thanks you for your generous compliments. I do love to cook and we are glad you enjoyed the breakfast, the inn in total and shared your experience on this website. Come back and see us soon Please!

Fantastic, friendly and welcoming.... all good things to get on a review. I love to cook and glad your breakfast was excellent. We had a very comfotable stay at the Fairlawn Inn whilst skiing for a couple of days. Chuck was the ultimate good host - he couldn't have made us feel more welcome or have done more for us during our stay. The breakfast was fantastic and lived up to all the rave reviews. Highly recommend this quirky and comfortable Inn. Many thanks Chuck.
Thank you for your compliments and good review. We are glad to live up to the reviews that have come previously and happy that you concur. Please come back soon!

Stayed for 1 night in February to ski and celebrate an anniversary. We had snow overnight and when we woke up, our car had been cleared of snow for us. Breakfast was exceptional, fresh fruit, coffee, and muffins accompanied the menu. The proprietor was friendly and chatted with us after he was done cooking.
we are glad you enjoyed your experience with us. We try to insure guests enjoy their time with us up to the point of clearing snow from cars in the parking lot. Please come see us again soon!

This was our 2nd visit to Fairlawn Inn for my wife and I. We stayed at Fairlawn Inn 4 years ago and returned this year. Thanks to Chuck this B&B remained as great, cozy and welcoming as 4 years ago. Very romantic and cozy place. Our room was very clean. We had a room with a gas fireplace, which was awesome. His Dining area and leaving Room area are super nice. There is a pool table, variety of different very interesting magazines and books, always available tea/coffee and other drinks. Chuck does his best to make your stay very warm. One of the best part of our staying was his delicious breakfast. Thank you, Aleksey and Irina
We love returning guests and hope to see them often. We have one couple that has been coming for 13 years and they have become great friends. We try our best to continue to update the inn and like providing the breakfasts that guests enjoy. It is nice to hear our efforts are appreciated. Thanks for a great review Irina and Aleksey come back soon!

In my subjective opinion, rooms are quite expensive and outdated. There are holes in the floor in the room, dust in lamps and other parts of furniture. Overall it's ok, but I wouldn't stay there again.
We apologize if this guest found their room dusty. We make every effort to maintain the inn to a high standard. Each guest room was completely repainted and restaged with new linens the last few months so I am quite surprised they found it dated. We feel our rates are in line with other inns and lodging facilities in the area. We clean each room after each guest leaves and check it again before each check in so again I am surprised it was dusty. Again we are sorry this guest did not enjoy their stay. The most previous review indicated we were a great value and rated a 10 on a scale of 5. We hope each guest has this experience and wish this guest had had a similar experience. We will take this review to heart and insure that we double check each room more thoroughly.
