    July 13, 2012

This is an extraordinary find. We booked a last minute reservation (our luck) for a Friday night in early July with little more than some online information to guide us, and were completely captivated by the meticulous and loving restoration of this house. Dini and Windle are warm and welcoming hosts, and they waste no time in making you feel relaxed and right at home -- but make no mistake: this is a gloriously unexpected trip into the world of an Edith Wharton novel, and every inch of the house reflects the taste and loving attention of its owners. We strolled the galleries and shops on Warren Street (a two block walk from the Inn) and had a superb dinner at Swoon Kitchen/Bar. But as good as that dinner was (and I know what I'm talkin' about) it was trumped by Dini's breakfast, served up next morning at the massive antique table in the sun-dappled dining room: roasted tomato with poached egg in basil cream sauce, pancakes with blueberries, mango, and fresh melon -- accompanied by sparkling breakfast conversation with a charming Hudson neighbor who has lived the sort of life that might give Auntie Mame a run for her money. A memorable experience, from start to finish...Dini and Windle, we're your newest fans!

    Wedding Weekend Retreat

    October 28, 2011

My family and I stayed at the Inn at Hudson in early October 2011 for my wedding weekend. Dini and Windle were incredibly accommodating and offered just the right balance of attention and personal space. They even allowed a few of my family members - who did not stay at the inn - to come over and use their grand piano to rehearse my ceremony music for hours on end. Breakfasts were OUTSTANDING & truly gourmet quality. Enough said. Rooms are elegant, impeccably decorated (with a touch of quirky, artistic flair), clean, and full of character. The inn itself has some of the most beautiful, natural woodwork, and it served as the perfect backdrop to my pre-wedding photoshoot. I couldn't have asked for a more picturesque backdrop, and all-round comfortable and laid-back vibe during the most frenetic and intense time of my life! Will definitely return without hesitation.

We just got back from an overnight stay at The Inn and had a wonderful time. Windle and Dini couldn't had been any nicer. Very gracious hosts. We stayed in the White Room and the girlfriend loved it. The Inn is very quaint. Breakfast was fantastic. Might of been the best breakfast I ever had. Dini is a great chef.

    Awsemoe Getaway

    January 27, 2008

My wife and I wanted to check out Hudson's architecture and antique shops. We read about the Inn at Hudson in the NY Times. The Inn is amazingly beautiful with the interior details preserved or restored to original detail. Windle and Dini are the bomb. They're awsemome guys with a great sense of style and humor. Dini's breakfast is to-die-for.

The best weekend getaway we've had

    November 20, 2007

The perfect weekend getaway - my boyfriend and I stayed at the Inn this weekend and it was just delightful, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are gorgeous and huge, the gas fireplace and leather sofa in the "Cocoa Room" were so relaxing and the breakfasts were the best meals we had. We felt taken care of. The whole house is gorgeous, warm and welcome. And a great value, too! We'll definitely be back.
