Had a weekend here over Thanksgiving. The room (at the top of the house) is spectacular and cozy. The morning light is beautiful. It is close to Warren St. (2 blocks) and close to the River. Barry is very hospitable and fun to talk to. Enjoy!

    wonderful stay

The rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean. The host was welcoming and conversational. The homemade waffles we had for breakfast were delicious, the best I have ever tasted.

    Lovely and the friendliest service!

We stayed on a Friday nite in March. The price was excellent ($100 plus tax when other places in town were charging much more for such an off-season time). The room was small but lovely, very clean and comfortable. The B & B is a beautiful old house, well kept and homey. Barry, the innkeeper, was the best - he asked about our breakfast choices and I have some dietary restrictions that he was more than happy to work around. A great place!

Large room and bathroom; attractively and comfortably furnished with lovely old quilts. Lots of towels. Wi-Fi and VHR/DVD players in rooms. Nice breakfast; just what we wanted. Owner Barry Butterfield was gracious and accommodating and very helpful about fun places to visit and bird watch.
