The Bell House
The Bell House, located in the rolling hills of the Columbia County, is a large 19th century home which was in the Bell family for generations. Carefully restored in recent times, the house offers the guest a rural setting of picturesque charm. Warm and gracious, the house has comfortable rooms furnished with antiques, as well as modern amenities. Set on 4 acres overlooking beautiful perennial gardens, mature plantings and stately trees, guests can enjoy the swimming pool on a hot summer day or relax on the wrap-around porch or the brick terrace behind the house. One can stroll to town or walk or bicycle on nearby lanes and trails or visit nearby Berkshire County and Northern Connecticut attactions. You can relax by the fireplace, read a book, play the piano or listen to music on a cool autumn or winter night in the comfortable living room. Choose from five lovely bedrooms, tastefully decorated with antique decor. Full gourmet breakfast is served between 8 and 10a.m. in our gracious dining room.
