George Washington Bridge (Upper Level) to Palisades Parkway. Drive about 15 miles.
Take Exit 9W (not route 9W) to NYState Thruway 87North toward Albany.
Get off at Exit 18; New Paltz/Poughkeepsie. Turn left onto Rt. 299 toward New Paltz.
Drive through town and cross bridge (about 1 1/2 miles).
Turn right onto Springtown Rd. toward Mohonk Lake.
1/4 mile road forks and stay left onto Mt. Rest. Rd. This becomes Mononk Rd.
Stay for 8 1/2 miles on this road to #44 Mohonk Rd. When you see the mailbox on left; make a lefthand turn onto Steep Hill Rd.
