Adams' Elegant Farmhouse B&B and Antique Store
Our farmhouse was built in 1892 and is located on Main Street in a hamlet called Downsville. The hamlet is nestled in the Catskill Mountains about 2 1/2 hours from New York City - a great getaway for the weary of heart. It has a population of just under one thousand, and is noted for its friendliness. It is a great place to stay for a vacation or overnight on your way to the Fingerlake Region (wine country) or to Niagara Falls. If you decide to go east, you can visit our College Towns of Delhi and Oneonta and then on to the famous Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. We have many special features about our town - a covered bridge, a water fall, a reservoir. Come visit us and have a good time going back in history. Visit us and see how America used to be. There are many Antique stores and yard sales for the people looking for treasures. Plenty of sports activities and events are available for the young at heart. Something for everybody is our motto.

From NYC TAKE NYS thruway to exit 16 IT LEADS ONTO Rt 17 (Quickway). ABOUT I HOUR LATER YOU GET OFF AT exit 94 (Roscoe). MAKE A LEFT HAND TURN ONTO Rt 206 to Downsville (10 miles). At Downsville GO two blocks past the only traffic light. Sign on lawn. From Binghamton: Route 17 to exit 90 (Downsville). TAKE Route 30 WEST to Downsville (15 miles). At THE ONLY traffic light make left ONTO MAIN STREET AND GO two blocks House on right side (white with black trim). - Nearest major airport: Binghamton, NY (BGM-Edwin A. Link Field) 65 miles

This recipe comes from a chef that gave a cooking lesson on my last cruise to the Caribbean .The crepes are so easy to make and so tasty...Come enjoy them and You will get the recipe....
The breakfast includes much more.... home made muffins and breads, lots of eggs and bacon and sauceage....with good conversation your breakfast could lasts for hours.

Nancy has been collecting antiques for 35 years & still goes to garage sales every chance she gets hoping to find a treasurer... Flowers are planted all around the farm house. Nancy enjoys nurturing them & watching them grow and become beautiful arrangements. - The innkeepers speak: English
