Blue Heron's Nest Bed and Breakfast
We offer two very spacious guest rooms, each with king size sleeping accommodations. The Captain’s Quarters offers a nautical theme. The Squire’s Chamber offers offers a countryside theme. The rooms include a sitting area, private bath, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, books, WIFI, iron, hair dryer and movie library. Common areas include, the sitting room, dining room, winter garden room, and a patio.
The many beaches along the North Fork include our local pristine beach on Peconic Bay just a 10 minute walk. We have more than 30 vineyards and wineries (several within walking distance), in the area. The local villages also have many historical sites, nature trails and some of Long Island’s finest restaurants.
Greenport features antique and gift shops, marinas, Mitchell Park, the home of the old Grumman Merry-Go-Round. Ferries connect to Shelter Island and to the South Fork.

From the West, follow the LIE to the very end, heading toward Orient Point. Continue along the Main Road (CR 58) heading East (it becomes State Route 25) about 16 miles. When you come to the village of Cutchogue, go past the King Kullen market to the traffic light and turn right on to Eugene’s rd. Follow Eugene’s to end and turn right on to Skunk Lane. Follow Skunk to Sharp Left Turn Warning sign and turn left on to Sterling rd. Follow Sterling 200 ft to mail box cluster at Lilac Lane and turn left. Policies
- Minimum stay required (We accept one night stays but may require longer stays at certain times)

- Consumption of alcohol is not permitted
- Deposit amount required (reservations are guaranteed upon receipt
of payment equal to one night's stay or half the total reservation, whichever is greater. Deposit if paying by check must be received within seven days)
- Check in time is 4:00PM and Check out time is 11:AM
- Cancellations:
As we only offer two rooms, cancellations affect us greatly.
• Deposits will be refunded provided the cancellation is received 21 days prior to
the scheduled date of arrival.
• If a cancellation is made within 21 days of the scheduled arrival for a reservation,
the deposit is non-refundable and the guest is responsible for the balance of the
reservation. If we are able to book the room we will provide a credit.
• Previously issued credit vouchers are non-transferable, are not redeemable for
cash and no cash change will be given.
• Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or early departures.
Rates and policies are subject to change without notice. Reservations already
secured will not be subject to any subsequent rate change..
