Lakeside Lodge

Step back in time as you enter The Lakeside Lodge, circa 1830, Greek revival styled farmhouse with wood beam ceilings, wide plank floors, antiques, fieldstone fireplace and lovely front porch. Listed on the New York State Register of Historic Places and nominated to the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing property to the Glimmerglass Historic District. This comfortable historic inn is created with Irish flavor to compliment the charm. Across from Otsego Lake, located just 2 miles from Glimmerglass Opera and 6 miles from the heart of Cooperstown.

The area has abundant fishing and hunting opportunities. With prior notice, it is possible to arrange lake and river fishing. A championship golf course is just minutes away, as are other picturesque golf links.

The Inn was built in the 1830's as a stage coach stop. The interior is uniquely decorated with many items of that time period. The guest rooms are clean, quiet, and construction free. When visiting, please feel free to ask the Innkeeper for a tour of the property, and to share with you some of the Inn's past history. The Inn is undergoing renovations on the exterior.

Cancellations:
If you must cancel your reservation and you do so 14 days or more prior to the arrival date, each reservation will be charged a $20 administration fee. If your reservation is canceled, altered or reduced within 14 days of arrival, or during a stay, the deposit is subject to forfeiture. Guests who fail to honor confirmed reservations will be billed for the entire reservation period. For all holidays, special event weekends and weekly rentals, the deposit is non-refundable, but is transferable to available dates in the same calendar year.
