We absolutely loved our stay here! Brigitte and Lou are wonderful hosts. They really are friendly, helpful and very hospitable. My husband and I stayed for an anniversary trip. We were actually upgraded, and loved the room. The view there, is remarkable. We were so impressed w/ the location, nestled quietly away from town, yet so close. The morning breakfast was served fresh, and prompt. We so much enjoyed dining w/ other folks and getting to know the owners as well! We definitely will, never forget our stay, and plan on returning someday. To sum it all up, it was a peaceful, relaxing getaway that exceeded our expectations! Thanks for the stay!

The Diastole B&B is the upper level of bed and breakfast accommodations. The location is superb, nestled high in Otsego hillside. The rooms are clean and spacious. The common areas are so beautiful I was taking notes on decorating. My son fell in love with the blankets and I relished the comfortable sheets. The owners are so inviting that we felt like returning to the B&B early in the evening just to talk with them. I highly recommend.

My 10 year old son and I stayed at Diastole for two nights while making a trek to the baseball and soccer (and on the way home, basketball) halls of fame. The innkeepers were wonderful - very friendly and accommodating. Rooms and beds comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices (and my son's favorite - chocolate chip pancakes was on the menu our first morning). The outdoor hot tub was my son's favorite feature. I liked that it was outside of town. At night I went out on the porch and could see the milky way. A lovely spot, easily accessible to Cooperstown, but sufficiently removed. One recommendation if visiting Cooperstown - bring any books you want to read - there are no good bookstores for miles around.
