Great stay in Cold Spring

Vera was very hospitable and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay in Cold Spring and will be back!

Wonderful Getaway Outside the City

5 on May 02, 2016

In early April we decided to visit Cold Spring and get out of the City. The Pig Hilll Inn was perfect! As soon as we arrived Vera welcomed us and had us settled into our room quickly. The rooms were very clean, and very homey. Our room had a working fireplace that we used throughout the trip. While we did drive to the Pig Hill Inn, it would be very easy to take Metro North to Cold Spring and walk the two or three short blocks to the Inn. Since the Inn is centrally located, we never moved the car. Breakfast was delightful served quickly. I would strongly suggest visiting the Pig Hill Inn.

Cozy rooms, good food, great staff

4.2 on April 21, 2016

Our room was charming, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the breakfast (brought up to the room!) was delicious. The place did have a few quirks, like a leaky toilet that ran all night, but that's to be expected in a place with so much history and character. On the whole, I would stay here again without hesitation.

Loved our stay at pig hill inn!

"My husband & I really enjoyed our getaway at pig Hill Inn. The room was cozy , clean & comfortable. The inn keeper Dave was very hospitable, he set out a winderful dessert daily in the afternoon with tea & prepared a delicious breakfast served in the greenhouse. It was so relaxing to park the car & just walk around the village & do nothing. Very good restaurants all in walking distance! Loved it! Will definitely go back again :)

Great Get-Away

The Pig Hill Inn is just as cute and friendly as you want it to be. It's on the picturesque Main Street of Cold Spring, a block or two from the train station and the river. It's cozy and quiet, the breakfast is good (and can be delivered to your room), and the service is friendly and easily tailored to your wants and needs. No question, we're going back. And a wood stove in your room is just fun!

Excellent mid-week getaway

Everything about the Pig Hill Inn is perfect!! Vera could not have been more helpful or accommodating! We thank you!!! Our breakfast was delicious, and staff was so kind. Located in the middle of shopping and dining, this B&B is the best. Cozy, clean and wonderful!!!

Best.Breakfast.Ever.

Pig Hill Inn was adorable. Super close to everything if you like to stay in town. The room was perfect (king size bed is a must for a guy that's 6'5") and the bathroom was wonderful. However, all of this cannot compare to the breakfast that arrived to our room (on time) the two mornings we stayed there. SO GOOD! Amazingly hearty, so many choices and it was so nice to have to option to be lazy and eat it in bed. The owners were super friendly and accommodated a late check in for us. It was super easy. All in all, I would totally stay there again and again and again. Oh and the fireplace is adorable as well.

Beautiful location and excellent, friendly service

My husband and I stayed at the Pig Hill Inn as a Valentine's treat. The staff was lovely and the Inn was just beautiful. It is within walking distance to several local eateries and the Hudson River.

Great location, great hospitality

My partner and I made a last minute decision to stay in Cold Spring based on a recommendation and booked the morning of our stay. After a weekend blizzard with many cancellations, the innkeeper did not seem to have expected to have anyone stay, but nonetheless greeted us warmly. There are welcoming amenities that greet you, too - a warm fireplace, tea or cocoa, and a baked treat. Pig Hill in is right in the middle of all of the shops and restaurants in Cold Spring and a quick walk to the river. Our room was cozy and had a bathroom en suite, as well as a fireplace that we used when we came home from dinner across the street. Breakfast was wonderful - we both had the asparagus omelet, which was accompanied by a lovely fruit salad and warm croissants. As the innkeeper had not expected us and had an appointment that morning, we were trusted to leave our keys on the bar whenever we were ready to leave -- fine by us! and were able to leisurely pack up our things before heading out. A lovely inn with a great location and amenities.
