Our largest Adirondack Room; the "Great Room". It features a king-size bed, wood burning fireplace, private porch and entrance way, double head steam shower, jaccuzzi tub, and wet bar.
Lounge by the pool and enjoy the mountain air! The pool is open between the end of May and mid-September (dependent on weather). The pool is located in our secluded backyard garden area, next to the pond and sauna.
Fieldstone and Riverrock are two Adirondack rooms that provide a romantic setting for your stay. Both feature a wood burning fireplace, queen bed, Jacuzzi tub and tiled shower.

Friends Lake Inn is a fully restored 19th century Adirondack country inn overlooking Friends Lake. The Inn features the warm patina of chestnut woodwork, brick hearths and an original tin-ceiling. Gourmet dining is available daily complemented by an extensive award winning wine list. Seventeen luxury guestrooms all with private baths, some with jacuzzis, steam showers or fireplaces, welcome you to relax in style. An outdoor sauna in the gazebo overlooks a backyard pond and garden. In-ground swimming pool and canoes and kayaks available on Friends Lake.

A beautiful place to getaway. The room was impeccably clean and the inn staff was outstanding. Dining was above average but not what I would call sensational. That being said, the duck hash at breakfast was an unexpected treat.

Cancellations: Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling space due to our remote location. For these reasons we uphold a strict cancellation policy. If a cancellation is made 14 days or more prior to your arrival date, you may elect to receive a refund of your deposit less a $40.00 processing fee, or apply the entire amount towards a future stay within the next year. If a cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to your arrival date, no refund will be possible regardless of the reason, as we will have turned away many other potential guests.

This is our 3rd stay at Friends Lake Inn. We love the cozy backwoods room in the addition. The cross country ski trails are beautiful but don't expect expert grooming. We sort of like the natural look though.
