This chalet sits on 30 acres. Yet it is conveniently located. Sitting out on their deck sipping wine, well, after a hectic day it was so relaxing! And beautiful. They have heaters on the deck for those cool evenings, though we did not need them. The rooms were very nice, bathrooms as well. Everything was very clean. Breakfasts were amazing. The ladies were very helpful with recommendations and even called for reservations for us. They make you feel at home! We would definitely go back.

This was our first excursion to the Finger Lakes and the Chalet was chosen for a night's stay based on the evaluations on TripAdvisor. It truly lived up to it expectations. Finding it can be a small challenge if you're relying on a GPS. But once you're there, Margaret and Pattie go out of their way to make you feel at home. It doesn't take long to feel like you're part of the family. The location was great. Room was very nice with amenities. Breakfast in the morning was a three course meal that was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Chalet to other travelers and will most likely stay there again myself. It was a very, very nice experience.

This was the perfect first stop for my new wife and I's mini-honeymoon. The Chalet is beautiful and the surrounding property is equally as beautiful. We stayed in the balcony suite and it was so comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Maggie and Patti are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and gave us ideas for places to visit and places to find a good dinner. The breakfast was phenomenal and my wife and I were very happy. After breakfast we sat on the deck and enjoyed the morning. We would definitely recommend the Chalet of Canandaigua to anyone looking to get away.

My husband and I spent four nights at the Chalet of Canandaigua last week. We have stayed at many B&Bs, but this was by far one of the very best. The location was just perfect for our visit to the wineries of the Finger Lake Region. The log home was such a delight to return to each evening. Our room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was terrific. The two-person soaking tub was so relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast each morning was a different selection and was most delicious and creative. It was so filling that we skipped lunch a few times. The best part of the whole experience, however, was the warm hospitality of our hosts, Pattie and Maggie. They went above and beyond to insure that our stay was comfortable and relaxing. They provided us with information of the area and excellent suggestions of places to see and eat. We would love to return to the Chalet and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

This was our first B&B stay ever. It was very comfortable and cozy and we did not feel like our privacy was ever invaded.

The Chalet is a wonderful experience. The bedroom was spacious and the king bed slept very well. The bathroom was equally large with a comfortable soaking tub. The house was beautiful and kept immaculate. The breakfasts were 3 course gourmet meals using unique local foods whenever possible. Our hostesses could not have been nicer. We had a delightful 2 days in finger lake country.

Pattie and Margaret made us feel right at home in our first trip to both a B&B and the Finger Lakes. The chalet was picturesque and rustic; our experience was peaceful and relaxing; and breakfast was innovative and savory. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought that Pattie and Margaret also worked for the Finger Lakes Chamber of Commerce. They superbly recommended restaurants, events, hiking, wineries, and grape pies! We are going back.
