We have just returned from a 2-night stay at the Chalet of Canadaigua. It was a surprise stay for our anniversary and our expectations were much more than met! The Inn itself and the entire stay was splendid in every way. The chalet is beautiful with fantastic attention to detail. The owners, Margaret and Patty - are top notch and consummate hosts. They were welcoming, generous, gracious, friendly, and professional. They made our stay memorable in every way. We enjoyed every moment of our time with them. The evening desserts and three-course breakfasts included in the stay were exceptional and true culinary creations. We had the pleasure of the optional 4-course dinner one evening, and we would highly recommend it. The setting is intimate and with a real fire in the room. Each course is individually delivered and presented. Margaret and Patty have mastered the perfect balance of attentive and respectful. The dinner is an experience not to be missed. It was obvious that both Margaret and Patty genuinely cared that we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, Margaret thoroughly discussed with us options of places to eat and to visit in the area. She checked in with us again during breakfast to answer any questions. After discussing our interests and timeframe, Margaret specifically created a route of travel for us. Upon our return, they were there to greet us and were truly interested in our excursion. There are not enough complimentary words to express our experience. We will absolutely recommend it to all of our friends and family for any reason - celebratory special occasion, quick visit to the area, or an opportunity for rest and relaxation. See their website for additional options of massages, hot air balloon rides, weddings, and many other special touches. We will most certainly return and can not wait to do so.

My husband and I recently snuck away for just one night at the Chalet of Canandaigua. Our stay was everything I dreamed it would be: lovely accommodations, gorgeous scenery, decadent food, wonderful hospitality. We are already looking forward to booking a return stay.

The Chalet of Canandaigua is our new favorite B&B; it simply doesn't compare to any other we have visited. Margaret and Pattie have done an amazing job creating a warm, friendly space that you just don't want to leave. Their attention to detail and leaving nothing overlooked was simply amazing; from the towel warmer in the bathroom to coasters just where you would need them, battery operated candles placed in just the right places, in-room amenities (mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board), games and movies for everyone's use in one of the sitting rooms, the wonderful evening desserts, blankets in the big cozy main room overlooking the deck, and Margaret and Pattie always keeping a warm fire going - it was all amazing. The three course breakfasts they made and served were exquisite and they were very accommodating to food allergy needs. Their friendliness and frequent conversations made it feel like they were old friends. We look forward to many return visits and are thrilled we found them!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and it was absolutely perfect. The rooms and the Chalet itself is beyond beautiful! Margaret and Patti were great- the service was wonderful. They helped us plan things to do and had an endless supply of great ideas. They even made us reservations at a local restaurant for dinner one evening. I was sad to leave after such an amazing experience! Definitely worth it- and definitely going to go back for another stay! :)
