Built in 1895, this historic Victorian B&B has been totally restored to its original glory by its current owners. Original stained glass windows, an ornate oak staircase and paneled chimney are just some of special features in this Finger Lakes B&B. Three guest rooms, all with private baths, are thoughtfully and tastefully decorated with Victorian touches, but have all the modern amenities guests want and need such as air jetted tubs, fireplaces, central a/c, cable HDTV, DVD/CD. Located in the historic district, shops, attractions, restaurants, and Canandaigua Lake are a short walk away. A scrumptious three-course breakfast is served daily.

We arrived at the Bella Rose on the afternoon of Friday, September 4, 2015. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Renee and Chris, who explained all the amenities and intricacies of the house. They could not have been any nicer or more personable; they are fantastic people. The house itself is a gorgeous, vintage Victorian updated with the conveniences of modern living. The house and rooms are impeccably clean and excellently maintained. My wife and I stayed in the suite for 3 nights. While all of the rooms are beautiful, the suite does offer the most room. It includes a balcony which overlooks the front of the house, a sitting room with fireplace, and a bubble tub (like a jacuzzi). The bed was very comfortable and just the right firmness for our liking. The three-course breakfasts prepared by Renee were all outstanding and certainly filling! Gourmet quality cuisine! Renee focuses on using fresh, locally grown ingredients in her cooking, and it definitely shows in both taste and appearance. The breakfast are top notch! We loved all aspects of this bed and breakfast and would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting Canadaigua or the Finger Lakes area.

We have stayed at this B&B on three occasions and it is outstanding! Would have given it a five star rating but the system wouldn't allow it.

We stayed 2 nights at Bella Rose and just couldn't be more impressed. The home was gorgeous and just had such a relaxed feel to it. Our room was incredibly comfortable and clean as could be. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, treating us as friends rather than guests. And the breakfast was incredible both days. Just not sure where they could have possibly done anything better. It's in a lovely area and is an extraordinary place to stay.

My fiancé and I made reservations to stay at the Bella Rose after a wonderful James Taylor concert. Our stay in Ann Eliza's suite culminated a most memorable occasion. The romantic, impeccably clean suite is beautifully decorated in the home's Victorian-era style, with every possible detail attended to. Nevertheless, the room very comfortable, especially the bed and its linens and selection of pillows. Equally impressive were the owners' hospitality and service, which extended from before we arrived to days after our stay. Regretfully, we had to leave before breakfast, but look forward to returning so we can experience it as well. We would highly recommend the Bella Rose to anyone looking for a memorable, comfortable stay in the Canandaigua area.

A quaint, quiet room, exquisitely furnished, a homemade breakfast creatively prepared and served in a regal dining room--all within a home of charm and grace. Renee and Chris will make you feel welcome and valued. Go out of your way to experience the Bella Rosa. Bob Wallace

What an amazing weekend we had at the Bella Rose! The hospitality was wonderful, the decor was charmingly Victorian, and the 3 Course breakfast each morning was delightful.

my boyfriend and I stayed here for one Friday night and had a wonderful time. The inside and outside were beautifully kept and we had all the amenities we could want for a relaxing evening - DVDs to choose from, ice for some cold beverages, and a comfortable bed. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and effortlessly accommodated the dietary restrictions I have. Would definitely stay there again or recommend to a friend!

We had stayed at the Bella Rose many years ago on a get away weekend. When deciding to do the same years later we did not hesitate to return. We are budget minded so we chose the cozy Nelly room. Although a bit small it suited us just fine with the queen bed. After a day out and dinner at a recommended restaurant we grabbed a movie from the b and b's wide selection to watch on the in room TV, some cookies and a beverage from the guest fridge we enjoyed a peaceful evening. We both slept so well in the very comfortable bed! We did remember good breakfasts at the Bella Rose. Our memories were a bit off. We had a magnificent breakfast, far from good! We stay at many b and b's and the breakfasts at Bella Rose are at the top of our list , if not the topmost!!! Renee and Chris are superb innkeepers! They are SO friendly and did everything to make our stay perfect!! I was thrilled to find good lighting next to the bathroom mirror-nice and bright!! I often have to bring my own magnifying mirror to put on makeup, but not here with the sufficient light! Will definitely return to enjoy this beautiful area in warmer weather with our bicycles and kayaks! When we do we will be staying at the Bella Rose!! Thanks Chris and Renee!!

My partner and I got married three weeks ago, and we haven't yet had time for a real honeymoon. So we went to the Bella Rose for a little mini moon. It was absolutely wonderful! The hosts couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. I follow a special diet, and had kind of figured that I would have to eat around the margins at breakfast. But Renée was amazing and made me food that I could eat that was beautiful and healthy and allowed me to stay on my diet. We liked luxuriating in the Jacuzzi, and watching DVD's that are provided. It was everything we wanted: a beautiful house, great food, and some real relaxation.
A beautiful two-room suite designed for romance and relaxation for that special occasion or much needed getaway. The raised queen bed is pillow-topped and cushioned for royalty. The large sitting room includes a double air-jetted tub framed in warm mahogany, a “must have” for bubble bath lovers. The bath for two faces a period appropriate gas coal fireplace with remote control that fills the room with warmth. After grabbing a warm towel and fluffy robe, cuddle up in the cozy loveseat to watch your favorite movie. This room also has a private balcony overlooking a park-like setting.
