Shaker Meadows Bed and Breakfast

  • Inn Details

Shaker Meadows, on fifty-acres ringed by the Berkshire hills, offers a 1790s farmhouse, perfect for group retreats and families, with six bedrooms, three baths and a full kitchen. The remodeled Creamery building has three guest suites with private entrance, kitchen, bedroom(s), sitting area and outdoor seating. In summer, Tanglewood and the Berkshire towns of Lee, Lenox, and Stockbridge are a 15-20 minute drive. Summer theatre, concerts, museums, restaurants and hiking trails abound, and we provide guest passes to our local town beach on Queechy Lake. We provide picnic tables, grills, and lawn games, and we welcome your pet(s).

We have now had 2 high school reunions at Shaker Meadows -- 50th and 52nd! -- and everything was wonderful in every way. What more can one say?!

First of all, Jean (a veteran innkeeper) is gracious, organized and accomodating. She made the perfect dinner recommendation off property, ensured the linens were right for our party, and dvd player was set up properly. Our room was as advertised (and great that it could be reserved for only one night). The piece de resistance was breakfast, and it was HEARTY: fresh fruit cup, ham & eggs, french toast, coffee and juice. Served on linens! Will definitely return here. Thanks, Jean!

Great breakfast and wonderful room! Great hospitality!

Breakfast was delicious, homemade and included fresh scones to poached pears to cereals with fresh fruit to a hot entree of eggs and sausages. Nice location. Jean, the innkeeper, was excellent advised us well about the area and provided to all of our needs. Would recommend! Lovely Berkshire area B&B.

We stayed at Shaker Meadows for one night in August. The Rose room was lovely, the inn clean and charming, the breakfast wonderful. The only two drawbacks were the fact that the bathroom for that room was down a steep set of 18th century stairs and the highway that goes by the inn is extremely noisey.
