Beau Fleuve Bed & Breakfast Inn

  • Inn Details

A grand, Stick-style Queen Anne Victorian in Buffalo's Linwood historic preservation district, the Beau Fleuve offers relaxing, comfortable elegance. Five tastefully-decorated guest rooms feature antique and heirloom beds, down bedding, and decorator linens. A unique hand-crafted staircase and nine colorful stained glass windows reflect the Aesthetic Movement. Its signature motif, the sunflower, appears in the house in both wood carvings and art glass. The restored exterior is painted in authentic Aesthetic Movement colors. Continental or full breakfast by candlelight. House specialties include blueberry or rasberry pancakes, Belgian waffles, eggs benedict, french toast, or several varities of frittata.

The Beau Fleuve is a lovely, peaceful place, tucked away from the bustle of Buffalo. The rooms are comfortable and warmly attractive. The breakfast was great!! I hope to find a reason to return. I tell everyone I know about this Inn, because I almost cannot believe that it's so close to everything I love in Buffalo.

The inn is located in a very charming family house and the decoration is simply perfect. It seems like every detail was carefully chosen to match the overall romantic atmosphere. The owners are friendly people and the intimacy of a 5-bedroom inn makes it easy for guests to get to know each other (especially during breakfast, which is served in a single round table). The food was OK (there was not much variety, but it tasted good) and the rate was not a bargain, but it was fair for the services provided. The only negative point was having to share a bathroom with another guest, but it depends on which room you choose. Apart from that, I would definitely recommend this place.

From our first welcome, to our lovely bedroom, snacks area and most delicious breakfast, our hosts really outdid themselves! Their home/inn has beautiful antiques to enjoy and various sitting areas to relax. They are situated near some great restaurants. We thought we were the only people there as it was so quiet, but found four more interesting guests for one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. We look forward to returning. From the moment we entered this lovely B&B we were welcomed and made to feel at home. The accomodations were spacious (we were in the French room) and very clean. There was a wide assortment of refreshments (tea, coffee, snacks) available outside our room. The breakfast was delicious and the table looked lovely. I would highly recommend this B&B. Note: there is a friendly cat but if you have an allergy, this might not be the place for you.

In December 2008 my girlfriend and I stayed for two nights at the beautiful Beau Fleuve B&B on Linwood Avenue in Buffalo. It was our second stay there, and we really like this place. The Irish Room is awesome -very spacious and elegant, including the bathroom. Architecturally this house is an absolute gem - one outstanding example of Buffalo's fine buildings. We enjoyed relaxing in the Native American common area and loved the whole set-up of the B&B. Rik and Ramona were gracious and flexible hosts; and the breakfasts were fantastic. Awesome place!
