    Beautiful sun-drenched Victorian rooms in our Historic Lefferts Manor townhouse on a quiet, tree-lined block. Minutes to Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, The Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Public Library as well as the Q and B trains. A fifteen minute train ride to downtown Manhattan, 20 minutes to Midtown. Rooms are quaint, yet simple, with a mix of period style and ethnic furniture. Original turn-of-the century details throughout the home inlcluding oak parquet flooring, picture moldings, a grand center stair and banister. The front parlor is usable by all guests and where a splendid breakfast of fresh fruit, coffee, juice and hot breads, biscuits and muffins is served every morning. Single and double occupancy rooms available. Three-night minimum stay. Full stay must be pre-paid. Linen and towel service provided. All rooms have air-conditioning and wifi. We are a fully owner-operated Bed and Breakfast! We take pride in taken care of every detail of our inn ourselves with no employees. We plan your stay from the moment you contact us, we greet and welcome you when you arrive, we make sure all your needs in your room are met and we greet you every morning by preparing and serving you a hot breakfast! We take time each morning to help you find your way around the city too and share with you our love for New York!

    Originally the master bedroom, this is our largest room. A grand, sun-filled wall of light runs across the full width of the townhouse with three full-sized, restored original windows looking out onto the trees of Rutland Road. A beautiful carved pine California king-sized bed, a mantle and sealed firelplace, restored parquet flooring and a walk-in closet are just some of the rich details. A Moroccan lantern and tile table add an ethnic touch the Victorian wood and plaster detailing. Just one flight up, this room can be joined with The McManus room as a two-bedroom suite.

    A peine rentrée, que je veux absolument partager mon bonheur d'avoir résidé dans ce lieu fantastique. Marc est un hôte qui sait recevoir. On se sent tout de suite à l'aise, il est disponible, chaleureux sans jamais être envahissant. Il a vraiment le désir de bien faire.De plus, il parle très bien français! Tout est propre et décoré avec goût.Literie très confortable. Ne râtez pas le petit déjeuner, il change chaque jour et est préparé avec soin et avec de bons produits, beaucoup de choses biologiques ou venant des meilleures maisons. Je ne savais pas par exemple que des donuts pouvaient être aussi fins! C'est aussi un grand moment de convivialité. Ordinateur à disposition. La station de métro est à moins de cinq minutes à pied, on est à 20 minutes en métro de Manhattan et le coin est sûr, même la nuit. Bref je ne peux que conseiller vivement cette adresse.

    READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY! Maybe B&B is not the right description for Lefforts Manor, it's more then that. The rooms are great and big, the dining room feels like home and is many times the place to meet people from other cultures. The enthousiastic host Mark gives the best information to have the greatest time in the BIG APPLE, which we did :-). We can recommend everyone who's looking for a B&B in NY to stay at Lefforts Manor. We're sure you won't regret it. William & Olga

    The room was very nice, the service provided by Mark was outstanding, and the location was good, just a couple blocks from the Q line subway station. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast but it was probably excellent as well!

    Could use more hooks for drying towels. Needed a place to sit and put on make up. Room was very large, bed comfortable and furniture well done. Owner helpful when asked.
