The White Farm B&B

  • Inn Details

The White Farm is a grand mid 1800's brick farm house located a few minutes south of Brockport and the historic Erie Canal. Virtually unchanged during the 140 years the White family occupied the home, many splendid period features await you. Beautifully grained interior doors, high ceilings with wonderful plaster moldings and medallions, Italian marble fireplaces, David Bruce murals and large inviting porches are just a few.

We have stayed at the White Farm more than once and have always been happy with the accommodations and with the breakfasts. christine goes out of her way to make her guests comfortable. Once we stayed over Christmas and Christine brought us a tray with hot beverages and meringues to enjoy while we opened our presents under one of several Christmas trees. The house is beautifully restored and appointed and in a very quiet area. Breakfast is always delicious. This is one of the best B&Bs ever!

The bad news: I've visited Rochester twice/year for the past 5 years and didn't discover this precious gem until this trip. The good news: I had the chance to stay in this magnificent space and to meet Christine Hunt, innkeeper extraordinaire. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that fate will take me back to Rochester/Brockport, just for the pleasure of staying at The White Farm, once again. M.R.-Brooklyn, N.Y.
