The Sedgwick Inn
Frequently described as "the quintessential country inn", The Sedgwick Inn sits on twelve sweeping, wooded acres in the scenic Taconic Valley. Located at the foot of the majestic Berkshire mountains, its a place where everyone feels at home. Comfortable, yet elegant, the two-hundred-year-old Colonial Inn is a true New England gem with a certain old-world ambiance. The dinner is served in our candlelit restaurant, which attracts diners from throughout the region. Our menu is eclectic and imaginative, our wine list extensive. The rooms in the main house are furnished with antiques. There are four double rooms and a two-room suite. All rooms have private baths. Tucked behind a carriage house is a six-room motel, tastefully furnished with Colonial-style furniture. This annex was designed for those who crave more privacy and easy accessibility. Children are welcome in the motel. The exercise room is located in a tinlined, neo-classical building constructed in 1834 and once used as a Civil War recruiting station. Our guests can soak away their driving aches and pains in our indoor spa housed the converted Carriage House.
